Great ride to wake up to. Yep seems like even budget air forks of $100-$170 with 100mm to 180mm of travel would amaze you on the difference. Ima impressed with the ZTZ Cheetahs with 120mm travel right out of the box & no adjusting yet.

Might be time to upgrade that stock anchor fork to a airfork with more travel, got my axum setup with a 130mm suntour raidon 34. A lot better and lighter

I haven't jumped a bike since a BMX when I was like < 10 years old. I did that quite a lot and got used to trashing with no suspension. Or brakes. So even this piece of junk fork is like Wow to me buddy. A good fork seems expensive I will have to work up to that Lmao in both skill and a surplus of money to buy a decent one

@@EBikeBuilder_ Yeah forks are not cheap, doesn't help the axum has the 9mm qr hub which is old. If you upgrade your front wheel to a boost through axle you can find a lot more options. And on pinkbike people post new take offs for cheap. That's what I did got a new wheel for $60 then a fork takeoff for $120

Where is temperature measured? Controller or motor?

@@likfrikbik motor, its a thermistor that is built in to the hall sensor circuit board, measures ambient temp inside the motor. not quite as responsive as directly on the stator, but works good enough

@@EBikeBuilder_ rotor and stator can take high temperatures, isn't it more important to measure controller temps? I think it's around 50-60 Celsius max for the controller.
