    Dear Sandro: On every single video you release I highly appreciate all the knowledge, tips and techniques that you share with us; but what I most treasure is your consistency mindset. My father (that passed away back on 2017) used to tell me that a master is the one who is consistent with his thoughts, words but mainly with his actions... you have become one of the kind. Congratulations maestro, my respects to you. Greetings from Monterrey México.

    Yep the 70s,80s & 90s were brilliant times including the cars. Bathurst was a religion of Holdens, Fords, Nissan, Mazda and even Chev. Sadly these days have gone but we are eft with the living memories that are tthose cars. We have two HQs and I still love the seeing the cars that made the 80s & 90s go by. Many cars from the 80s were ahead of their time like the AWD Godzilla, the rawness of the SS Group A Commodore or AMG's V8 that in black can scare you.

    Hey Sandro! Seeing that car drive away had to be bittersweet. Spending that much time with a car...going over every little crevice and resuscitating it back to life has to be a very satisfying feeling. Letting go of it and perhaps not seeing it again or for some time is 😒 Thank goodness for memory and video 😊 There is no better feeling then satisfying your customers (I would imagine). Heck of a job on this one Sandro! Until the next one! Cheers mate ✌🏾

    @15:54 This is the moment we all wait for. But as an American, I have to say two things: 1) Australians are the most wonderful people I have ever had the honor to meet; 2) The customer displays such reserve, such modesty, the like of which we don't see here in the U.S. very often. Watching especially this last part really made me take stock. We could all use a heavy dose of modesty and humility. We are all going through some excruciating times, and Sandro touched on that a couple of videos ago. But this isn't about politics. This is about pride in work well done. It's about that reaction when your client is utterly astonished at the result _you_ produced for him. That's where the modesty comes in. We're almost as thankful as they are. Does that make any sense to you, Sandro?

    Dear Maestro: Hoping that you are doing well. Need your advice again; inspired in your videos I have decided to buy a car polisher; I would like to buy a Rupes but my current funding allow me to buy the Maxshine Pro 5/15. Now, I have an issue about the foam pads that I should buy and the quantity. About foam pads, here I have access to the brands: Lake Country CCS & HDO and Chemical Guys hex pads. I would like to buy the LC-HDO but those are really expensive; the next choice could be the LC-CCS little bit cheaper and finally my third choice are the CG-Hex more afforable if I buy the kid including one sample of all their color-pads; based on your experience what is the best choice? Which one should I buy? and how many of them (for cutting, polish and finished).? This project its for my own cars (3) but I have been wondering to maybe offer the detailing service to friends and relatives. In advenced thank you very much for your time and advice. Greetings from Monterrey México.

  • @CarCraftAutoDetailing

    @CarCraftAutoDetailing

    3 жыл бұрын

    If you could find the LC SDO pads they are usually much cheaper than the HDOs and still very good. The LC CCS pads are generally for rotary polishers so they won’t perform or hold up well on a large throw DA polisher. I don’t have much experience with the CG hex pads so I really can’t say much either way. Usually having at least three pads of each is a good way to go so you can swap the pads after every few sections and let them cool down while you use another pad - heat is what destroys pads the most, so also make sure to blow or brush out your pads as the built up reside also makes them run hotter.
