As i remembered, old skool nasi lemak has boiled kangkung and ikan masin. But nowadays even egg is optional 🥲

Have you tried those RM1.00 nasi lemak in perlis? (yellow coconut milk rice) or the ones in Kuching,Sarawak where they put omellete and salted fish? many kinds of nasi lemak in Malaysia..try the simple ones in small packets coz the sambal is also unique.

Kaz. The next shop is ikan bakar Pak Din. That’s also the famous place for varieties grilled fish, dip with tamarind sauce. U can try and come during lunch hour.

Wow, the owner experiencing years of cooking Nasi Lemak should be very tasty, good trying Kaz, it's look good and delicious, look at your cute face, I will gain my appetite to want to try to enjoy like you😁😁😁

Since you've discovered the place, visit again on weekdays and try menu from other stalls too; Pak Din ikan bakar next to Tanglin - special way serve with banjir air asam sauce for lunch. -chinese style char koey teow or wantan noodles stall - get a kopi kaw and roti bakar or steam from the last drink stall. And the area shall be well busy with the clinic opposite and many more food stalls at the roadside.

Actually if I recall right Nasi Lemak Tangling original location is just up the road a bit under a big tree then they moved to the current food court location.

if you happen travel to Terengganu try their "nasi lemak or nasi kuning with Sambal ayam/ayam masak merah and sambal ikan" "nasi dagang with gulai udang" in Kelantan "nasi berlauk gulai itik/ kerutuk daging/ayam kuzi in Kedah the nasi lemak that wrapped with newspaper because for me its cute though .well that's my personal preference but really umai, chef kisses!

Usually at 11am all already sold out but youre lucky .lol
