That Verizon Wireless startup and shutdown were the ones I fondly remember from my very first cellphone (which was a Motorola RAZR) until I retired the flip phone I had been using since 2012 in 2018 when I began to use an iPhone.

That's actually not radiation. It's the phone searching for a signal. It's common with GSM phones.
