75 GALLON SALTWATER AQUARIUM UPDATE
75 GALLON SALTWATER AQUARIUM UPDATE
In this video we’re doing an update on the 75 gallon saltwater aquarium. The aquarium has been set up for around 6 months. We have some community fish and crabs in here. The filtration is all DIY. Aside from the HOB refugium! It’s a pretty easy aquarium to keep but on cleaning day the process takes too long. It’s still a pleasure to keep. The 75 gallon saltwater aquarium may need to be upgraded one of these days but for now, it will remain as is. Most of the fish will have to be moved out due to them outgrowing the tank. I hope you found something entertaining or inspiring about the 75 gallon saltwater aquarium. If you’re new here, consider subscribing to the channel! Thank you for your support!

@@TheFishCorner these smaller saltwater tanks take me back to your older videos.of the 10, 20 and 37gallon. You have exceptional attention to details. I think this 75 is one of my favorite tanks you have. It's put together perfect from the canopy to the sump A+++++!
The lionfish definitely knows the net means food, not capture. Awesome 👍🫠 It should make him very easy to catch LOL

really like your HOB refugium. I am fascinated by these tiny lives. Best to admire them through that refugium compared to one inside the sump! How long is this tank? 4 feet?
@TheFishCorner
Жыл бұрын
Thank you. I agree, so fascinating to look at and yes, 4ft.
The algae come from the sun rays from the window. That's why it's so high on algae by where the sunlight is coming in from to the tank. Easy fix just keep the blinds closed or keep the left side blind close to keep the sun light rays off of the tank.
@TheFishCorner
Жыл бұрын
That’s not possible. There’s nothing like that natural sunlight coming into the house. So I’ll just keep battling algae the way I have.

@@TheFishCorner just saying in the video I seen a window next to the tank. Not trying to be combative just saying natural sunlight from the window next to the tank can be reason why. Wouldn't hurt to try and keeping the one side of the blind closed. Hey worst that can happen is it wouldn't work but best case scenario you just tried something you didn't before and can be that simple of a fix.
Best saltwater fish for 20 gallon don’t want them to be super generic but like beginner-intermediate level. Also bonus for like shrimp and such

HOB and a DIY refugium under the tank.
Which food is best for Salt water fishes for good growth and coloration?
@TheFishCorner

Depends on the fish you keep. I prefer ocean nutrition algea flakes and pellets. You can also provide frozen brine shrimp and bloodworms for a treat and growth.
