I wish she hadn't glossed over why peds anesthesia instead of pediatrics. She didn't even pick pediatrics as her specialty she could have seen herself going into instead of Anesthesia. There's a story there that we never got.

@@Dontbeselfconchas I'm not really sure what you mean. Yes, the Southwest US has scorpions but not the ones that cause pancreatitis.
Ask her about CRNAs, it is growing for Anes, only if you are planning to specialize with fellowship. Regular Anes will be chewed up by CRNAs in the very near future
