What a great post.....glad to see extended highlights of this having never seen more than Bremner's goal previously. Both sides on fire that day on what was a very muddy Maine Road pitch!

Brilliant game , i would swap this game for 10 premier league games now!

I was at this match alone aged 14 told my parents i was camping in the dales, when i got home my dad (Bradford supporter) said Jammy Leeds won and you missed it! lol

Great game, great atmosphere, household names on a late-season pitch. So much better than watching tattooed pansies knocking it around in triangles and crying when a tackle comes in.

amazing how these games can take you back to where you were exactly where you were when you heard the result ,i can see the the newspaper seller outside the city varieties selling the green final with headlines announcing our win on his billboard clear as day ,,happy days i was 9 and just spent 2hrs in the pantomine with my cousins 🤣

The shot was good , the save was even better.......Classic Coleman.

Phil Parkes was a great keeper. And there so many about then that he never even got a sniff of an England cap.

How John Richards's shot did not end up in the back of the net still baffles me today and I have watched it so many times!!!

That was so unlucky . When you hit that part of the posr it normally goes the other way . Only thing i can think of is the ball was spinning slightly before it hit.

Brilliant and brutal. The game is nothing like this now....unfortunately.

Bringing back memories. I was at the match age 11 and spent the next few years walking on any photos of Bremner I came across.

Challenges flying in. Real blood and guts football. Imagine Rashford on this field, absolute lamb to the slaughter!!

Any Wolves fan out there like to swap a draw at Molineux in the last match of 71-72 for a win in this game?

I still remember the after-match interview of Bremner and Revie on tv. Both were confident that Leeds would win the cup in the final.

My brother was at this game in the kippax end . A barrier collapsed causing utter chaos.

Great match to watch that - it was in the days when getting booked was only of you attempted to murder someone - GBH was simply a talking to from the ref.

You don't get cup ties like that any more a real cup tie not like today.🐻🤗👍

Was looking for Wolves V Leeds in the FA Cup 1977 quarter final.... was that never televised? 1-0 Leeds Eddie Gray.
