I love how you included all the little details, from the scooter rental to the local snacks. Makes me feel like I'm right there with you. What's the one tip you'd give to someone planning their first trip to the Amalfi Coast?

Nice. We loved that area. We based in Salerno and took the ferry to Amalfi and Positano, it was beautiful and easier than the narrow suicidal coastal roads. Also, we had just as good, if not better, experiences in the north bay of Naples. Beautiful coast, no T-shirt shops, ruins everywhere to explore. More immersive in real Italian culture.

Amalfi would probably be the next destination for our next Italian trip.. 😊

Harriet and i over the years have enjoyed our trips along the Amalfi Coast. Got to experience a hike to Mt. Vesuvius and the ruins of Pompeii along with the Blue Grotto of Capri etc.. You can't do it on one trip. So much to see guys. And to enjoy it with the person you love as you guys do. That's truly special. Claire, the food you prepared looked so yummy. Breakfast we ate at home, then we usually went out for lunch and cooked dinner at home:) Bought some fruit like banana's and apples for snacks during the day.

Not at all. It's traveling and all the change from, hot to cold that causes such flu symptoms

i did not get the clarity on how you traveled from rome to sorrento, can you pls guide as i am going in august, and arriving from florence to sorrento, from where can i book my train and bus tickets, and how can i have a stopover in pompei, where to store luggage. pls guide

You guys have spent a lot of time in Cape Town and you know the drive along Chapman’s Peak… How does the Amalfi Coast compare to Chapman’s Peak drive?

Very very similar! Both are scary to drive on😂. Chapmans is probably more beautiful and has much better viewpoints to stop at and have a glass of wine😍

@@RhettandClaire My wife and I were engaged on Chapman’s Peak drive 26 years ago, so it’s kinda special to us. Nothing like watching the sunset over the Atlantic from a couple of the viewpoints there. Love your content. As we’ve been in the USA for more than 20 years, it’s always fun watching a couple of South Africans like us experience the world from the perspective we did 20-some years ago!
