He wasn't just a great golfer, he was a great man. ❤

I shot my age, 77 at Hepburn Springs in country Victoria late last year, but it’s only par 64, helped with a chip in birdie on the only par 5… So I can add that to 2 holes in one , 7 club Championships and breaking 60 at Elsternwick public course.

That’s still good golf for most anyone at any age

My grandfather shot 69 at 73, 77 at 77, and 82 at 82.... But not from the blue tees. He was a great golfer.

I’m 16 and I’ve made my high school golf team and stuff like that. Is shooting in the mid to high 90’s sometimes low hundreds good for my age? Should I be in the 80’s? Just curious.

I remember going to Latrobe County Club for a Golf summer camp as a kid and my Grandfather taking me to Latrobe Airport and seeing Arnold Palmer landing his airplane.

Dude is doing what I can’t do at 36 lol

Wow unreal, my 81 year old great grandmother shot her age back in the 1920’s I have her whole set of clubs on my walls in my bedroom :)

I shot my age last week at 104

Truely amazing. It was right around this time he beat Jack Nicklaus in a shells match. Played great.

My very young grandson went to the Zurich Classic in New Orleans & was talking to Sam Saunders right after Arnie died. He told Sam he was sorry his grandfather died & asked him if they would still be making the Arnold Palmer drink (his favorite)? My boy is different in a good way. Lol

The best advert for wearing sun cream is how much younger everyone looks these days.

Palmer shoots 71 at age 71. Some say a young Arnie could not compete with the players on tour today. Given modern equipment he would be a top player.

I met Arnie on the Rancho Murietta GC. I’ll never forget how cool he was to me.

And the impact as solid as my best shoot which came just once in a month

My dad was dying of cancer a few years ago when he was in his early 70s... I've been playing golf with him since I was 12 years old that I had never beat him... Is none of us new he had terminal cancer... We get to the 18th hole by the clubhouse, all I have to do is sink an 8 inch putt, and i will beat him by 1 stroke. As I'm about to Putt, my dad comes up behind me and gives me a tap in the family jewels with the handle of his Putter, I hit the ball about 40 yd out into the parking lot😅😅 "Still cant beat the old man" miss ya pops

We can debate all day about who the GOAT is, but there will never be any doubts who The King is.
