'70s fight into the night | Gerry Marshall Trophy presented by Sure full race | SpeedWeek 2020
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
The Gerry Marshall Trophy presented by Sure is the centrepiece of the revived Goodwood Members' Meetings - but for 2020 it became a central part of the inaugural Goodwood SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard. Filled with all the usual 1970s and early 1980s touring car mixture of BOSS Mustangs, Rover SD1s, Mini 1275GTs, Ford Capris, Fiestas and Escorts it was a brilliant sight as they fought while an autumn darkness fell over the Goodwood Motor Circuit #gwspeedweek #gw_unilever

I would regularly watch racing, if it were fields like this. Beautiful, fast, dangerous- and every car unique.

Agree.
A full 45-minute race most of us will never be able to see in person and would no longer be able to see _at all_ if not for events like Goodwood SpeedWeek, professionally filmed, uploaded for free, so we can watch from the convenience and comfort of our own homes... and people in the comments are complaining about miniscule audio artifacts and the commentator saying "chomp" vs. "champ!" What a time to be alive...

Best racing I've seen in a while. Love seeing old cars battle. A Mini and a 70 Mustang in the same race= AWESOME!
Epic , I love vintage racing, no fancy computers or traction control, just man and machine

Absolutely! Real Racing.
Looking at these races I ask myself ," F1, where are you going? In fact, where have you been gone since long time ago?"
This gets the juices pumping more than F1. I could watch these guys all day. I had a big block manual '76 Trans Am when I was 22. Yanks can handle when they're set up right.
Fantastic racing, excellent drivers, and man does this track look technical and fun!
Goodwood is not my favorite track to race on, GT Sport, but man it has some of the best races in the World with the mixed class racing. What a gem. Thank you Goodwood.

This is awesome So grateful to see these cars race
What an amazing mashup of cars and drivers, I can't thank Goodwood R&R enough for uploading this jewel!
Outstanding racing and beautiful cars! I love touring cars racing and stock cars racing.
Just great cars on track. Mustangs are faster than I thought/remembered!
Capri and Mustangs just sound absolutely Awesome and they are Flying! Love ‘em all!
Love the Mach 1

Man you got some balls to go full out in a MINI between all those monster 70s cars
Glorious!!
GOD~ THIS is racing!
Those cars need to try in any track so fun to watch
Love the old stock cars
what a race!!!!
Fuel crisis camaros have to be my favorite camaro design. Nice to see them able to keep pace.
Jason Plato always looked like a bit of a knuckle magnet. But he is a great racing driver! That last move across the finish line proves that.
When I clicked on the thumbnail I was prepared to laugh. That was amazingly enjoyable and unexpected.

Shame to not see much coverage of the slower cars like the minis, metro, fiesta etc, some great racing though.

The pheasant at 14.40 is a cool customer!
rather watch this than F1 every day of the week.
LOVELY ROVER
It would have been interesting if the Rover could have stayed in . Those little V8's can run !!!
The Red Capri was straight gettin it
I wish all of those cars should added in GT7
At 2.20 one rod of the rover pass by the exhaust .
The Capri that matters.

Who spends their precious racing budget on an Austin Metro? (and yes, I know about the 6R4, that was very different)
6:15 watch that Mini... 😯
Little red "skittle" 😁
The nr. 28 Camaro looks like the ex Hennie Hemmes car, in that case I saw it at Zandvoort many times..
Excellent finish to the race. So nice to see cars I recognise. Shows how crap F1 is in comparison.
+1
The Mustang Boss shows that with a properly trained driver, Mustangs can be controlled and not crash into the crowds.
Kuhmarrow eh? lol
Saying "Comauro" is almost as bad as saying "Jagwire", but not quite.
G.J.M. Oi...
How do brits make American cars even cooler ragged.
those huge 'bathtubs' will get to the end of the race with less 100 pounds of fuel...😁
When Brakes are Red Hot they shudder and are unusable
This wou'd be an awesome channel but this many ads is scummy. Its just begging when there 3 ads within 15min. 1 ad per 15min, be cheeky put two and the start and finish but constantly having the video interupted buffering again just fuel's rage. Like download the videos and re upload them without ads. Subs would go skyward with better management.
4:14 over for the Rover lol, ugly cars those
