My Rlaarlo 917 recently hit 87mph with Perfect Pass and a few upgrades. Wider foam tires, Up geared pinion and spur, Dumbo RC receiver, Perfect Pass module, 3S 100 C battery.

Congrats dude. I'll probably have the same reaction when I finally hit it.

Love it I have a Dr10 I'm messing around with. Appreciate that you like to help and put out good advice in what direction to try to get better faster. It helps when you don't know were to start.

A lot of ppl will find a decent set up and try to act like its some top secret cia file thats only available to those with a clearance level high enough that they could walk into "area 51" like they owned it. Thats really decent of you to show yours.

I have a 4wd slash with the 6s MMX system and all the goodies stock lcg chassis. Gtr shocks and so on. Ran 1.7 when I gave it away

Yea 4wd and 6s is pretty crazy. This is rwd and 2s.

Just so everyone knows that Skyfly remote takes EIGHT (8) AA batteries and is one hungry, hungry hippo. They can be modded for lipo however. Nice set up btw.

Cool video hey I’m new to this working on my drag car useing the new bandit rtr chassis, I have the spectrum brushless sensor motor 400kv what gear and spur gear should I use to get 80mph on plus keep it straight

What do you think of the traxxas telemetry expander with gps vs the gnss analyzer I have both. I'm new at all this so when I bought my drag slash I also bought the telemetry expander 2.0 with gps then I upgraded the motor and ESC and the guy at shop thought the telemetry/gps wouldn't work but it will. I left it off and installed the gnss. I just ordered 10 Guage wire will that be ok or should I get the 8. I have a motiv launch pro 2.5t with a rx8 gen3. Thanks for any help. Jack, why didn't you use 2.5 turn instead 4 turn? I heard some people 4 turn was a better motor, if you bought a4 turn you could just easily bought anything you wanted so is it true about the 4 turns being a better motor? did your GNSS work with your iphone right out of the box? Been having trouble getting connection with the satellites

What size shaft. I have a 4.5 turn hole shot that was in a new drag car build I bought, and the motor shaft wobbles. I've read and been told bent shaft, bad bearings. I'm exchanging emails with rotor Ron, but he says it couldn't of left his shop that way. I'm just trying to run the car, and even offered to pay for him to fix it, or sell me the parts as I've never had one of these before. Are these motors worth the money?

You have 1 more upgrade to do before tire sauce. Get ceramic bearings for tans case and wheel hubs. Check out rc speed secrets. They are great bearings and you will notice a difference. Otherwise great progress on this car Jack. Keep up the great videos.

Just like the threaded rear shock bodies, I'm sure there might be other details he forgot to mention. If I had the money in this so called stock Slash he has, I'd throw mine away! But Wow, 70 mph, Nice!!

@@jasonjones4891 msm isn't really good content anymore, it use to be but he tries way too hard now for content and it shows , we barely see him run his trucks anymore, its just rambling now, he trips on all his words cause he is trying so hard to say everything , he use to not be like that a few years back, but yes ryan Harris has good info and content too

I have blue dot reactions, 38 tooth pinion, everything else is stock and we can’t get faster than 2.70. What can I do that stays within boxstock rules. Can’t change electronics or remote. My 8 year is the racer and I’m catching hell getting him to where he can compete with the grown folks. Everyone else is running 2.3-2.5

The ESC advances timing in the software. But i think if i clocked it for tq i wouldn’t get the top end without gearing up more. Which kind of defeats the purpose. But who knows! Just need to test it!

That's the combo I want except not Trinity but 4.0 are less. And I'm not saying Trinity is a bad motor, I really don't know. But I do know you combo should be good for at least 70mph. Man there are so many variables no one can probably tell you what you needing, I'm sure you tried all combo of pinions & spurs if your even running one, what tires, did you balance the car . To me it sound like you on to something you have to find the sweet spot in the DRK a d be rockin that thing with a nuclear reactor of a battery, you have high powered stuff it has to be fed, lots of current, consider a big cap pack all that Matters !

I currently have 2 of these models on back order, and look forward to their arrival. I will appreciate each of them for Traxxas's claims of performance. Look I get it, you're awesome with a GoPro, and awesome with your knowledge of RC drag racing. But there really isn't much stock about this build. the range on that radio gear is bad wounder if you could boost the range some how 70mph is chipping

I get around 400ft of range. 300-350 is safe.

Kindly I use the same type of gns but after some time using it I realised that it is not giving the proper readings in my opinion. The faster the car goes the more inaccurate it is. First of all the gns stop reading or calculating before the end of the run so it doesn't calculate the top speed at the end of the run! Secondly the time elapsed to cover the 132ft or 40m it is also not accurate and I think that also not all apparatus are calibrated the same because everyone use his gns and some get better results and when we race together with same cars, the cars with the slow readings overtake the other cars with the better time results. I use to use it to see if I made some improvements but I do not think that it is accurate. I gathered some results and test that I done comparing it with the esc data log, I came to my own conclusion that it could be misleading! This is all my opinion and I could be wrong and stand to be corrected.

I’m really just cleaning them off more than heating them. I use tire warmers before each run. But yes you are right

Great video, slick car. BUT those MAXX AMP batteries are the absolute worst packs around. Pls do some research. SMC if you don't wanna read up. Good luck!
