Agree! I’ve been removing it lately from fixing up wiring of my sub and when I checked it only was held in by a few bolts! All fixed up now :)

Thanks Everyone asking about the roll cage it’s removable and have been taking it in and out recently as had issues with my sub, was barely held in when I got home only few bolts! Usually a lot more secure :)

Only just bought a draggy recently so I’m keen to test this out! No 1/4 mile times as I’m still coding in launch control but I would imagine low 5s 100-200

It’s been disconnected so not using the adaptable suspension anymore

I am in love with this car so much that it's being like 4 days watching tuned versions of it and what makes it crazy is that it's a freaking manual😲 so I have decided that my first car is going to be a Polo gti 9n3 after that one is Polo gti 6c after that it's Ford Focus st mk3 and I will be going for the Audi s1. Plus I'm staying in Botswana so this car I have never seen it at all I just saw my first video of it and I absolutely fell in love with it. The car that I mostly see it's a VW golf gti 5 which is fast but I just think that it's much heavier compared to a Polo gti and to me an Audi s1 is an upgrade from the Polo gti❤

Awesome car..I have a S1 with Galano tune but not the level of power this one has but it is incredible car...lots of fun. I cant imagine how fast with 400kw but how quickly they rev is amazing..we replaced the stock clutch as it is the weak point and new clutch is nice a light...Galano is great tune and love the launch control plus the car is so drivable as a daily then it puts its cape on and becomes super S1. Many thanks to the guys at Northside Euro's in Canberra who did such a good job.

@@matthiasschwellinger733 real world mph trap speed > computer numbers. Claiming worlds fastest worlds most powerful worst quickest is useless unless you can back it up on the track. Anyone can adjust correction factors on a dyno to show power. That’s why the standing 1/4mile is a standard.

"what 1/4mile times/mph does your dyno sheet run?" haha looks like 450hp at best. 700hp in a small car is like 145-150mph down the 1/4mile. definitely a happy dyno. need some drag slips/videos to back it up.

Owner here, car makes just shy of 500awkw, which is around 700hp at the wheels… we have not launched it down the 1/4 mile as we are trying to save the gearbox at the moment. Until we have a backup plan then we will do some 1/4 mile times, 100-200 times are coming in near future to, on mid boost setting and previous setup we ran a mid- high 5s

Low-mid 10s as it stands being manual also with no launch control tuned in. This was old setup. Dsg with this setup is in the 9s

Funny because as mentioned the exact setup on an auto can do low 10’s even 9’s. My tuner did 9.6 on a stock block golf R… let alone they are slightly heavier to. I suggest you Do some research. Of course being a manual will probably be stuck in the mid 10s with a good launch

lol @18:35 "gr yaris killer" is far from the truth, stock motor they can make 740whp in the yaris. you can tell clay has never been in a lamspeed racing or powertune gr yaris before haha.

However, the experience soured when Clay decided to disparage another vehicle, detracting attention from the S1's merits. Not everything needs to be a competition; the car speaks for itself. Clay's attitude, coupled with his lack of knowledge, was cringeworthy and unnecessary. Hopefully, he'll learn to steer clear of negativity in his car videos; there's simply no need for it. In contrast, the owner was humble and made him far more likable. I would have preferred to see him showcase the S1 in his own video, with his team discussing its features. Additionally, while I didn't intend to cast the S1 in a negative light by addressing the facts about the Yaris, I felt compelled to correct misinformation. Education should always be prioritized over baseless criticism.

They originally come with the gti engine but has been swapped with the gen.3 golf R motor so a few bits and pieces are different

Hardly a super car killer . This car worth weight of 1340KG torque/weight power ratio is 0.522 / tonne. My ninja h2 sx touring bike is 0.800/ tonne. Most super bikes are 1/1 ratio. MacLaren 720S and above will nuke this which is a standard super car. Also any 150hp motorbike will show this car a clean pair of heels.

⁠you are full of sh1t. a 720s would annihilate your car in a straight line, there are people like you who tune a car and there are actual engineers who are hand picked to develop cars like a 720s. What are you saying you’re better than them?
