On December 8th, 2022, Popup Choir (Tijmen de Koning and Maarten Bos) joined forces with Dutch broadcaster EO to make a beautiful choir version of Happy Xmas by John Lennon, and to spread the message of peace.
We invited 700 people that never met before (and hadn’t practiced beforehand) in Amsterdam. In just one hour the people learned the harmonies. Then we immediately recorded this version of the amazing song. The result aired on national television on Christmas Day 2022.

Absolutely war could end if humans could put their pride and differences aside, and be civil about issues. I’d like to see it happen in my lifetime.

@@erinjordan8668its the elite who run governments they are the problem to them war is money, they get richer by lobbying governments to spend our taxes on supporting wars while they rake in millions as they have invested heavily in the companies who produce weapons warships fighter jets bombs, United snakes has been the biggest threat to world peace since 1918

It's Christmas, 2023 and this video has given me chills!! Considering our word is experiencing 2 active war conflicts at this time, this moving song has so much meaning. Thank you to all involved!!
