Very similar to my '69 Corvelle build except I will have a 2018 Corvette interior w/airbags. Z51 LT1 a/c is mandatory. Love the color of this build and everything else about it. Great Job!

Two things I really like about this car. 1 its all-motor, boost is cool but theres something special about natural aspiration. The second thing is that it's an old school small block and not an LS.

The sound of a big cubic inch small block is godly sounding! Just like the nascar motors!! This is one of the best episodes. What a beauty the car and the owner is.
Matt did they BAY AREA PROUD! HE did some circles at the intersection then walked it down the street! That's how we drive in the BAY AREA! SIDESHOWS AND SLIDING EVERY CORNER!! YEEE!

Solid roller cam? Great car, fantastic job on it, inside and out. I have a 1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS5, the thing hauls ass, stock, 4.10 gears, love it. Just need a 4th.

Big Block V8's are better any engine for drag Racing and so on. Big Block V8's into Rail Dragsters and Funny Cars. Hp 12k+. No small blocks or any small engine will not reach that power. It's a fact so far lol

Its so nice and refreshing to see a son & dad relationship enjoying each other! I love the car, but its the RELATIONSHIP of enjoyment here between the dad and son that's what is really PRICELESS here in this video!! I remember when my eldest brother bought a 70 chevelle SS 454 LS6 and he told the seller to take it easy when he took.our dad for a ride, TRYING not to show all its power!! Wow! That motor definitely sounds angry & I can't figure out why because it's sitting in a car with probably the best interior I've seen in awhile and the exterior paint just looks like liquid. So glad he made the long drive for the cruise and took the time to hang with you afterwards.

Most definitely one of the cleanest Chevelles I've ever seen. I did a 71 El Camino and basically did the same thing as far as getting rid of all the water catching chrome trim that causes cancer. Soooooo Clean .

If my car had 700hp I would want the biggest brakes I could fit. Accelerating is cool but stopping is critical.

You would be surprised, car stops very well with the brakes on the car. Never been in a position where I thought I needed more brakes

Big breaks don’t effect stopping, they cool better if you’re into auto cross and other such events.

Stunningly great build all around but you can really see the time that was put into the body and paint. It’s like a sheet of glass down the sides, gaps are spot on, subtle and tasteful mods like shaving the drip rails. ‘69 is my favorite year of Chevelle and this one is just stellar.

@@mattgrant7981 insanely awesome car sir subtle things like the carbon fiber material throughout to the blackout under the rear of the car for the fuel cell and exhaust. That dash sliced diced and looking on so nice! I could look at this car and find little goodies all day long.EXCEPTIONAL BUILD!!!🚗

I know!! I love my business and shooting videos. It’s a ton of work but it’s endless fun and the friends I’ve made are the biggest reward I could ask for. Matt is a new one on the friends list and truly glad to know this guy
