Meanwhile, my friends don't even remember my birthday. I'm the one always throwing parties for people, giving presents, sending letters and being kind and generous with the scarce resources I have, but no one seems to appreciate that. Maybe one day.

Nicest thing someone has done for me? My aunt gave me their 15 year old car which allowed me to apply for more jobs outside of the range I could get to by taking just the bus. This allowed me to get a good paying job in my field after being unemployed for a year.

Mine would be when I was 13 ,and at a school dance my "friend" wouldn't stop trying to touch me. He would grab me, poke me, pet my arm ,ect. That only last for like 10 seconds cause my now friend , Mason, leaned into his face, look him straight in the eye, and said, "If she tells you to stop, you stop." I really wish that one day I will get the courage to ask Mason out. I couldn't thank him enough , because no one is really nice to me.

the nicest thing someone has done for me was tell me I could trust them. it was at a summer camp, this camp is so special to me, and I was in a cabin with my favorite counselor. I was really homesick, and she said you can trust me. I immediately was no longer homesick, and I didn’t want to leave because I wanted to stay with her.
