my dad had an old 4 door green nova. It saved his life one morning. in dense fog a guy in a duster went to pass a car and hit my father head on. My dad woke up with the chevy bowtie impression in his chest and a cut on his forehead. He was sore for a few days. I will always say that this nova saved his life.

From the moment I discovered your videos I instantaniously felt that this is something else from all the others and thus far you've only verified that feeling. Your humble approach to doing mechanics and to other yotubers, your knowledge, yor VLOG-style and yor lovely Jen, truly makes this channel unique! To me you're a role model. With Love from Sweden!

I can't get enough of this channel. You are so creative and crazy. It's a stress relief listening to you rough through whatever you took on. This was the greatest bunch of craziness I've watched.
I have to say, your neighbors are awesome to tolerate some of what you bring in, and Jen is straight up a SAINT! I am just living vicariously through you lol

I think Jenny silences any possible laughter at unfashonable hats unless she is among those laughing. You did somehow pick the right neighborhood too, most such neighborhoods are at least 20 miles from the auto parts store. Though there may be some in which you can walk to the junkyard.
Jen has a great voice, great song. Thanks for sharing.
Not the fate the car deserves after a revival, still cool to see it alive once more.

Going into a junk-yard and resurrecting vehicles that were given up on is amazing! Good picking and singing as always.
Thats a Sick tire machine. Glad to see the old, cold and covered in mold still being put to work.
That was an awesome video! A little bit of everything and the ole Nova went out in a blaze of glory! Good job Brian! And Jen , WOW that was a pretty darn amazing song and nice job singing it. Thank you Chris and Jen , thumbs UP!! 👍💯

I come to KZread mostly for guitar vids, and guitar-related stuff. And music. Maybe some boat and water type content (prolly how I found your channel). But I look for other random things as well.... and this channel has rapidly become one of my favorites. You guys are just absolutely awesome! I love your approach to life. Didn't even know Chris played the guitar. I knew Jen did... you guys do it all. So much fun! Great young couple... and you guys inspire me to want to live just a little more! Awesome.
Your Girls (Jenn) got a good voice and you killed it on the 6 string Chris!!! Thanks for sharing guys keep up the good work!!!
All kinds of treasures in this video, Jen sings like an angel, you strumming the guitar, and a night out at the derby. I especially like that you never take our knowledge for grant, that we already know everything, you always walk us through your trouble shooting methods. Huge THX!
Man, cars like that were still a fairly common sight to see on the road in the early 2000's. Surprised how good it ran for sitting that long.

I don't want to see demo anymore, especially not on that scale, so from the revival perspective, that was definitely a failure, though I don't know what chance it would have had for someone else to come along and save it from the crusher if Chris had walked on by. It might be infinitesimal, but it isn't zero. The thing to do is, once you take it, price it just out of reach of the scrapers and demo drivers and keep working on it until it is worth that price. The objective for me is charitable. that being the working poor who can't afford the rents on the bus line, and for them, the priorities are reliability and mileage, plus snow traction. What strikes me as the wierdest is that Junk Yard Digs does stuff for charity, but never revive cars for charitable purposes, though there are charities who provide cars to the working poor, and vans to the homeless. I just never see this connection made to revival mechanics, even those doing other charities. The V8 in that Nova has no practical purpose though, unless it is to tow trailers, in which case it needed a hitch.
Had a beautiful 77 as my second car when I was 17, thank you for your videos! Shame I got rid of mine but want another in the future🥹…you da man! I might be the only one sad to see what happened with yours😭

@@thisguy2720 it was a booger green that was painted cherry red with a white vinyl top, got from a girl who wanted a new car and was embarrassed to drive it. Pretty clean example, her dad ran a body shop, in Minnesota I believe, and wouldn’t drive a green car so the jams were that old color and I always wished to see it in it original green… some people are going to hate for many reasons, let ‘em. It was a rare car to see in 1996 and even more now…
Wow..what a fantastic video. I probably changed a thousand tires on one of those machines back in the mid 70's. Jen's song was perfect with all the shots of the car and the derby. Well done my friend. 😃😃😃
I love the way to ripped the brake shoes off... Classic! You Sir...are gifted. I did Tires ... LOTS and LOTS of tires, so..from a fellow TIre Buster.... you're technique is strong.
Yea Jen!!! That was great. And thanks to both of you for the great footage. I've never been to a destruction derby before but now I'll have to find one to go see. What fun. You two are truly "livin' the life".
Love your content brother, going through some depression and you really boost my spirits. Your organization is stellar and I really learn alot thank you.
Yesss another one!!!! I’ve been binge watching lately. Please keep them coming, great work and love the long edits!👌👌
Chris absolutely love the derby and a thankyou Jen for singing a fantastic song
i love the way u took the right rear brakes apart just throwing that old crap brakes to the side and rippin them down and keep on moving lol
Never abandoned another video so quickly in my life after seeing you have uploaded 😂🙏💯
Having used one of those tire machines many times, i would recommend keeping your hand on the end of the tool that forces the bead off the wheel. I have seen that tool go flying before... fortunately, it didn't hit anyone. It would have been ugly had it done so.

That is not a junker. That is a CLASSIC! I love it and would love to see it run and drive again.
I have a friend that had a 1978 Nova...4-door, originally a 305 V-8 (a lot had the six in them). He bought it when it was about 5-years old...used it as a work-commuter. SIX ENGINES later, no telling how many sets of tires, oil changes...a drunk hit him, totalled the old car...that was 2015...he owned it for 32-years, and by his best-guess, it had around 2-million miles on it. He admitted, he always hated the car, but it was an 'undying cockroach' that drove well, rode well, didn't stand out, being a 4-door, no one wanted to steal it...it was like 'a granny's car'...that worked. He's tried for several years to find another body to 'have it back again', but there just aren't that many out there that don't need a 'total rebuild' to even put on the road again.
Awesome as always, never a dull moment with NNKH.
Dunno if anybody else mentioned... Keep your hand on that bar so it dont flip up and break your jaw. I spent over 15 years working on a Coats machine. I've seen it happen. Dig your channel, keep it up.

I own one of those....1978 Nova 2 Door, Silver Blue Metallic (Same color as yours) with a 250 CU IN six and 4 speed Muncie manual transmission. 5 passenger with bucket seats and a center console, Factory AC and guage package.....rock'n car.....Has more power than most people believe....That 250 CID engine coupled to a 4 speed manual trans and 3:42 gears kicks ass.....I installed the factory V8 muffler so it has dual exhaust pipes....sweet car...I still have it today, October 17 2022.....Last year I found the factory rally wheels, trim rings 'n center caps 'ta replace the stock wheels....Looks super sweet with 235-70-R14 Red Stripe tires....My Nova has NO rust on the body or chassis and is in pretty much pristine condition....A real keeper....
Jenn has a beautiful voice! Can’t believe how good it ran!
