Yeah, I think a lot of kids actually thought so too! A large number of these figures that come up on eBay now are missing their tops. Thanks for watching!

My dad bought me and my brother, the atomic man for our birthday my absolute favorite. So glad you had this on because I was just looking for this toy because it brought back so many memories.

I loved the micronauts, When they were used a bit, the elbow and knee joints went floppy. And those hands and feet used to fall off quite often, but saying that they were still great. I used to have one in my pocket most of the time.

Micronauts had great articulation for such a small figure, they were ahead of their time on that part. 👍 But yes, they fell apart frequently.

Seeing these toys again bought the memories flooding back. I was probably 7 years old. Cyborg and his enemy ( named Mutron) were also available in the UK. Mutron was a see through purple plastic, his hands could be swapped for his 2 weapons, a fire ball and a multi headed snake, his head came off to reveal an orange brain. If I remember correctly Cyborgs weapons were a mini water squirter and a claw.... The atomic man was sold in the UK under the Action man brand, as well as the flashing eye, clear plastic leg and rotary hand, he also came with an atomic heart which made a clicking noise. My favourites though were the micronaughts. I had the micronaught city. Every Christmas our dear old Dad would insist that myself and my brother would clear out any old toys we didn't want. He'd load up his Honda c90 and take them to a local orphanage so unfortunately I no longer own any of these classic toys. Great memories though....

Check out the Super Joe line put out in the 70’s as sort of a sci-fi update to GI Joe. Cool stuff, and there were some translucent characters (as well as another cool 70’s trend, shiny gold and chrome plastic characters)!

Hi, I'm from the UK and we had the Shonen Cyborg line in the mid 70s, we had the Cyborg, King Walder (Muton in the UK) and Android (Android A) figures. We also had various packs of weapons and gadgets for Cyborg and Android and 'Subforms', costumes for Muton which were based on characters from Japanese TV shows such as 'Red Baron', marketed in the UK as 'X-Acron' and the horned skeleton version of King Walder marketed as 'Torg'. We also had the Sea Demon costume marketed as 'Amaluk', but I don't know what show it came from originally. I loved those figures and I'm still picking up pieces to go in my collection! The big Flying Saucer with the removable jet seat inside is a great toy, I still have mine with its box, but it's missing the top missile launchers. In time, I'll find them! Japan makes the best toys!
