All i can say is afro american disco, soul and RnB was the bomb from the early 70s. It had so much soul, funk and a happy feel to it and still stands to this day. It just makes you want to dance and feel good. From the mid 90s it all went down hill and now there is what you call rap crap. The shit today is depressing as hell. Music is so depressing now, hence I always go back to 70s 80s stuff. Todays pretentious non talented music clearly lost touch with how good it was and the roots of all great music from its origins. How many artists in the top 100 billboard can actually play an insturment these days. I would say less than top 10. How disappointing for current generations to destroy what the 70s 80s built up to be a carefree fun lifestyle only to be all pissed away in an instant with social media crap, phones and the mass movement for global validation via likes on their social media accounts. Now all you hear is about mental health issues. Geeee I wonder why. Tech has destroyed the fabric of a fun free society. Millenials led the way with that one from the early days of selfies and entitlement and now we are in this mess we're in now. All those that can remember these days is reminisce.
