    Re the camera mount at 03:00, I was years ahead on that. In the 70s I built my own mount using 3 pieces of 1-1/2" aluminum pipe and a threaded "tee". My Canon F1-N camera was mounted to a 400mm lens (Russian, I don't remember the name, but it had decent optics, cost $40, f/5.6 to f/22), sometimes used with a 2X converter. The lens provided mounting for itself and the camera. My mount extended a few inches beyond the front of the lens to sit on any available surface, and far enough rearward to rest on my shoulder. It had a handle with a built-in cable shutter release. It wasn't fancy, but wasn't expected to be. It was rugged, cheap costing about $10 and took an hour to build, and worked great on things like wildlife, particularly birds and small animals. I took it to a race in Charlotte, NC where we lived at the time, and 400mm would only get a couple of racers in view at a time. Lots of magnification, too much in fact. People didn't know what it was. In those days not everyone used a 400 (or 800) mm lens on a homemade mount. 800 mm with ASA 25 Kodachrome was a handful, even in bright daylight, equivalent to f/32.

    Capitalism and racism combine to make this condition. Capitalism keeps wages as low as possible so less people are likely to take the job, as well as making some jobs more dangerous by skimping on safety equipment or safe staffing/work life balance, or Healthcare and retirement for particularly dangerous or grueling jobs. It also keeps education required for certain jobs expensive reducing the number of people who qualify. Racism and xenophobia keeps people who are looking for jobs and might take the more undesirable ones from migrating to meet the demand. Yay!

    What a great video. I see so many videos like "Top 10 gadgets you NEED to buy" or some stuff like that, but then you watch the video and think "9/10 of these are completely useless, and the last one might be useful in extremely niche situations". But a lot of the things in this video wasn't misleading in any way. There were so many super interesting inventions, albeit a lot of them are still in the early stages. But that just makes me really excited to see which ones end up becoming the next big thing. Will I fly around in the flying cab? Will I drive around in the Hydrogen car with 6 replaceable batteries? Or will I play piano with a 6th finger? Or maybe all of them? So many cool futures to look forward to!

    I used a brand of clothing where they made lots of the clothing last for multiple sizes. It would start being a loose and breezy's dress and grow with the child into a tunic and then a shirt. The problem is little kids destroy clothes so they're not going to last too much longer than they can wear them anyway. (This brand did make sturdier clothes so they did last at least a year to 18 months of use).

    Love the 6th finger concept and see no reason it couldn't be extended to 7th or 8th fingers. Imagine how insane some musicians could get with these additions? I have a weak left pinky and it has always limited my guitar playing so that I avoid certain chords. With 6th finger, that problem could be mitigated quite readily.

  • @mikebeck9844

    @mikebeck9844

    9 ай бұрын

    Nice idea but potentially not possible. Your hindbrain actually changes in response to the sixth finger by being slightly less precise when directing your fingers. On the positive side, you gain "normal" control so it works just like your others. On the negative side, fine motor control suffers a little. If you were to add even more, I suspect that none of your fingers (real or additional) would be precise enough to play an instrument.

    Quick thought,,,(My hubby is a musician, plays guitar amongst other instruments,) If you avoid certain chords because of your pinky,,,maybe learning some power chords to compensate? Or possibly use a more simplified version, whereby you dont use the pinky finger at all? Youu will find a way around it anyways.xx

    I can picture every drunk kicking and yelling at every robot street sweeper, and the shame of having to be written up for abusing what's essentially an industrial roomba. Cant wait to see those records put in writing

    55:30 Milda should be inverted to be even safer. As it is, it is even easier to use the handle to suffocate yourself on than a traditional handle. If you invert it, it would make it orders of magnitude harder to do that.

    There are many places where using a camera gun could upset many people, cause extreme distress and even result in the photographer being assaulted, arrested or shot.

    The hypershell open many possibility for the elders that can't walk by themself , it would be enough help to walk for many people that cannot do it. And those who got accident and need to relaern to walk , that could be helpfull. Very cool.

    Definitely a horrible idea in the US. Seems like a quick way to have the police end your "photoshoot" prematurely

    I disagree, the music is fitting with the narration wonderfully. Keep up the good work.
