Growing up, I actually love Mii Plaza, and I can agree with you with that. Including the free wallpapers and the music for the Switch 2, and something that brings the nostalgia, like the 3DS for example.

I had so much fun playing Virtual Console on my 3DS.

Finally, you use the word “Could” in the title! Bravo, you are now becoming less clickbaity!

Another cool feature could be a little quirky GUN included in the box. In the gun could contain a little chip and then you would have to S H O O T it inside your brain so the chip is connected to your mind. Due to this injection you can now play the new open world Mario game in real life. Jumping and punching in real life! And if you fall of a large cliff, your legs WILL CRACK AND BREAK. And if you die to an enemy, YOU GET PUT INTO A COMA THAT LASTS TILL THE END OF TIME. I just think that would be little whimsical quirk to add some originality to Nintendo’s new console. 😊

I miss the Dual-Screen gimmick too, and apart from that, I completely hope that Switch 2 will support 4K Resolution (3840×2160) when Docked, since roughly over 80% of the modern TVs sold in relevant stores nowadays have that resolution, and while we're at it, I anticipate Switch 2's Handheld Mode (or Portable Screen) to have a resolution display of 2560×1440 (assuming it'll be exactly 16:9 again), and apply that exact resolution to recording video-game footages of the last 30 seconds before pressing that button. I also hope that no exceptions will apply this time around when it comes to allowing Switch games to record that said feature of gameplay footage.

It would be great to bring back the "Nintendo Badge Arcade" from the 3DS, basically It allows you to earn badges and decorate your home menu, but this time its free and it doesn't cost 5$ for 1 turn.

Playing Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS games on the Nintendo Switch 2 would be a dream come true. Just imagine playing those games in HD AND on a TV without using any kind of emulation. Also, do you think the sound quality for Nintendo DS games and Nintendo 3DS games would be a lot more clear on the Nintendo Switch 2 or would it be the same as on the original systems?

great ideas! i dont think we will get detachable screens, cameras, or an always on display in docked mode, but i would love a dock angled back, and charges the device from the back with magsafe, so its way easier to pick up, and takes up less room (if you have a small shelf for example), backwards compatibility with 3ds games!!! Support for streaming directly from a console. Custom joy cons online like xbox controller customisation.

What I mentioned by modding the new console was a toned down kind of modding, a lot like the steam workshop. I understand the confusion though, as I wasn't clear. Still awesome to have my idea be in one of my favourite youtuber's video!

I would love for them to implement an achievement system of some type as you just talked about in this video. Xbox has gamerscore, PlayStation has trophies and Steam has traditional no point achievements. Maybe the switch successor could do something more rewarding than it's competitors that make the achievements more worth the time to earn them and more satisfying. Though since the introduction of these systems in the Xbox and PlayStation, Nintendo hasn't done anything yet. Xbox makes the achievements more exciting to obtain, PlayStation has a little ding which isn't as exciting but Nintendo is missing it. They should have a reward system for earning enough achievements that can be used to buy gift cards or a subscription, similar to gold points. Something that makes the hard challenges worth doing. I don't know what it could be, but something. I don't even really bother to 100% most nintendo games. I do my best but there's no actual reward in it for me.

there is switchware on the switch, it’s just not under that category anymore because the eshop isn’t separated into sections like that. Snipperclips and those digital only Kirby games are basically the Wii ware of the switch.

Themes and 2 screens would be awesome! I think themes will make a great addition to the Switch 2 like they did with the 3DS because each time you boot up your system, different theme music will play instead of just boring black and white and no music. The themes I would love to see … of course, Super Mario games (modern and classic, Nintendo is best known for that) Kirby, Zelda, Metroid, Mega Man, Star Fox, and also retro vintage based themes from Sega Genesis, Sega CD, and more.

I hope Switch 2 has Joy-Con that are a bit bigger and easier to hold with the face buttons and sticks better positioned in a way where they aren't so close together. For me, the Switch's current Joy-Con are fine, but I just don't find them as comfortable and natural to hold in my hands as the Wii Remote and Nunchuck or even the Wii U GamePad. I think it would be nice if they would make a Wii Remote and Nunchuck that you could use as another controller for Switch 2 like they have the NES, Super Nintendo and N64 controllers. The Joy-Con work fine as a replacement for the Wii Remote and Nunchuck, but they're just objectively not as natural and comfortable to hold for me and the gyroscope for the Joy-Con isn't accurate enough. It would also just be nice to be able to play games like Mario Galaxy and Skyward Sword with the controllers they were originally made for too. Also I want background music for the Switch 2's menu because the menu on the original Switch not having music at all makes it feel empty and makes the Switch itself have less character of its own outside of its games, which the Wii, GameCube, DS, 3DS and Wii U had, and I hope Switch 2 brings it back.

I think it you could say hey Nintendo open what ever game you want and I opens it to play idk when it would be used but it would be cool

I think a switch built in projector is a good idea when I play on someone’s switch at a gaming club at my community college we always hook up a Nintendo switch to one of the projectors in one of the class rooms but if the switch had a built in projector that would be so much easier.

I wish that regular communication would be available during gameplay.

The only sad fact is that none of the cool & exciting features aren't confirmed yet so unfortunately this is probably just a wishlist.

One of my top asks is a password/passcode and I didn’t hear you mention that once. If my switch is lost or stolen a passcode and a locating feature would be great.

One idea for the virtual console could be that it is a online service but you can purchase games separately or something

Imo thats kind of already what we got… take for example pikmin 1+2, metroid prime remaster and the upcoming remake of paper mario. I know this aint the same idea as the virtual console but the option to buy certain games separately, in a way, is already there.

Having to go back to an LCD screen would kinda be a dealbreaker for me… there is no reason they can’t give us the option to upgrade from launch

Idk if this would work or not but I miss the Club Nintendo rewards. Like custom merchandise and stuff. I think if you get a big IP game like Mario or Kirby there could be a feature where there’s a merch store that unlocks relating to the game you just bought. You could either use your my Nintendo points or real money but it could be like a way to buy authentic plushies or t-shirts licensed by Nintendo through this new console. Ehhh I don’t know though this was a random idea. I think I’m just in the mood to get some more kirby plushies lol

I have just realized something, Pikmin, Pikmin 2, and Metroid Prime were apart of the New Play Control set, and Metroid Prime 2 might potentially be announced for the next direct with Metroid Prime 3. So do think that there is an potential that something like Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, Mario Power Tennis, or Chibi-Robo to be announced sometime or is this just a coincidence.

@@nintendofan6499 From what I know, I think that the September 2024 assumption for its release date is based off a leaked deadline. And deadlines are not release dates, they're the latest time that a project should be finished before it becomes unacceptable.

Ok... its been 7 years. Nintendo Selects are returning apparently. They are making notably less first party original games and are focusing on remakes and third party. Leaks are going crazy and other companies are hinting heavily to the Switch 2. You really think all this would be happening if Switch 2 wasnt coming this year?

A 3D screen seems silly to most people but I would play portable a lot more if there was an incentive to do it I love 3D as a casual gimmick where I just want to see depths for 10 minutes before turning it off lol

More features not listed in your video that you could put in a sequel video: A "TATE-Con" which could be used for Nintendo DS NSO and vertical screen games. The ability to record your entire play-through of a game through a streaming feature without the need for any external attachments. Notebook/Notes features like the "Game Notes" on Nintendo 3DS. Mic A pick up and play launch game that isn't 1-2-Cringe. Controller pack emulation for N64 games. Streetpass that works with both the console itself and the phone.

I doubt achievement is coming. Mario Wonder’s online implementation just showed how Nintendo does not like things that can bring potential negativity. There are also quite a few features that are just not technically possible due to physics limitations on current chip technologies.

Bring back fun!

Some of this stuff was on the WiiU but that failed so I don’t think all of these things are a good idea

for the achievements, I was thinking on something similer to PS5 and Xbox consols platinum trophys that you can get when you're playing a game. Nintendo wouldn't call them trophy's but name them trophys.

No drift, better way to docking them, better handling. Things Nintendo probably won't add: -Voice Chat! Just because of the mic you would think there would be Voice Chat. Are you insane. Remember Xbox Live. -Background Tasks! They want to use as much CPU as possible for the games and not waste it on other Tabs. -Browser! This is a game console, not a tablet. -Socials! NO! MORE! Miiverse scarred them for life. -Achievements: I don't even see, why people want them so much, since they kinda turn games into a chore of things you seemingly have to do. Maybe could be added, maybe not: - More Mii: Nintendo might have realised, that they hit gold with the Miis, so they might do something
