    I'm commenting to hopefully help someone out. The new version of the game packages 3 decks of cards into 2 cellophane packs. I am not the only person who sent my box back, thinking the game was incomplete. There are at least 20 bad reviews on Amazon where people are saying they've bought more than one box and the game was incomplete. I'm sure people are thinking, "How could anyone think not to open the packs up?" Honestly, I am not sure why I didn't verify before sending box one back. It could be because it's implied there would be three cello packs when there are three slots and slot 2 has deck 2 and slot 3 has deck 3, and both packs are uniformly packaged (not being a fat cello pack and a skinny cello pack, making it seem more plausible that two decks are in one pack.)

I prefer not to try to rank or rate games, since something I really enjoy may not be something someone else enjoys. That said we do have videos where we share the games that are gaining popularity, games we're keen to play, and games our community is playing, in our MomenTEN, On The Radar and People's Choice videos. Thought we were missing a card, but we counted the cards under the List of Cards section that had 3+ and it also added up to 26. Is this a manufacturing error? Or is one person supposed to be down a card every time?

    For buying resources from neighbors, using your example at 8:53, if I had a card that required 2 glasses, can I pay 4 tokens to buy the one glass on player's board plus on the gray card?

    What does the alpha-rainbow symbol on the Olympia wonderboard me? I can't understand the instruction "you can construct the first age card in each color for free'. What if we are already in the second Age? We won't be coming across any first age cards, so I don't know what this effect means. Can you explain with an example?

    Once you've constructed that wonder stage - until the end of the game you don't have to pay the resource cost of a card if you don't have any cards of that color currently in play.

    The Edifice expansion was release with the 2nd edition, so you can think of it "as" a second edition, if you're wondering about its compatibility? The 2nd edition is not said to be compatible with the older expansions (as the publisher has made some card changes).

    About resources buying...the rulebook says: " you can buy resources only from gray and brown cards." But in video he is showing opposite. I think that's incorrect -- buying starting resources from the wonder tablet.

  • @WatchItPlayed

    @WatchItPlayed

    Hi Ben, I am confident the video is correct, but I'm not exactly sure what you are asking, or are saying is the error. You mention I'm saying the opposite of "you can buy resources only from gray and brown cards". In the video do I say you CAN'T buy resources only from gray and brown cards? That would be the opposite, and I'm pretty sure the video doesn't say that. Or are you saying something else? The last part of your comment seems to be asking if you can buy the resources from a player's starting board? If so, yep, you can! From the rules: Resources you can buy from your neighbors include: • The starting resource on their Wonder board; • Resources on their Brown cards; • Resources on their Grey cards. Hope that helps! If I'm misunderstood the questions, please let me know, and I'll see if I can address your question better.
