My family laughs at me for being so "obsessed" with sunscreen! I have 4-5 different kinds in my boat-bag as well as in my purse--they think I'm crazy that I don't want to get tanned. But my skin looks ten years younger than it really is! Thanks to YOU!

I can relate so much 😂 they laugh at me all the time...... Purchasing sunscreen that leaves white cast didn't help it 😂 (I use it only when I am at home cause I don't want to throw it into trash) But at the end of the day, I know the science behind it. Sunscreens are important.

I finally can't leave my house without SPF and I started consistently applying it to the back of my hands too! My boyfriend was recently trying to tell me I don't really need it if I'm just running errands in the car and I had to explain to him how wrong that was!

my mother is 86 and has just had yet another skin cancer removed from her face by a plastic surgeon. She hated wearing sunscreen years ago when playing tennis 3 days a week because it stung her eyes. Mother's Day is coming up and I am gifting her some La Roche Posay non-sting sunscreen.

Thank you for all this information. It’s good to listen to a knowledgeable person on this topic.
I appreciate how thoughtful, compassionate, empathetic you are especially when mentioning things like getting elderly. You have a very kind way of addressing that. I call myself an old fogey these days. 😁😁 My sister (much younger) said I'm not an old fogey! I told her I'm saying that w/a sense of humor.

Thank you Dr Dray on encouraging UPF clothing. I never knew how many great choices are available and last year I bought some from Amazon and it’s been a game changer! You're such a sweet, funny, honest kid. I'm 64 and love your videos. I was a sun-worshipper - no sunscreen ever. Only used moisturizer when skin red from sunburn. [I KNOW - what can I say !]. My skin ain't pretty! I wasn't looking to be 20 years younger, just look okay for my age. But when doing research to see if I could EVER help my skin I came across YOU. I watched your videos relevant to me. Because you're so damned knowledgeable I took your advice, [whilst still researching. [sorry!] I now knew the few basic things I needed to start. Only a few months later, now adding a few extras , my skin is no longer grey and pallid. Still working on it obviously !!! Thank you so much Andrea. ♥♥♥ Pat [Noosa, Qld. Australia]

Have a Wonderful Evening!! Happy Monday To You Too!!
I'm a professional gardener, and have a client who spends time tending to her (and her mom's gardens), and ended up getting skin cancer on the tops of her ears! I now try to remember I put sunscreen on my ears when apply it. I used to be really bad about sun protection, until after about three or four years into working outside, I started noticing sun damage! I now feel naked if I forget to apply sunscreen and stop and do it immediately. Your videos have been so helpful for skincare info, and recommendations for products, including sunscreens.
Somehow I missed this video and I'm just now seeing it. I have sun damage on my upper chest from a burn I gave myself while driving two years. At the time I drove a Honda Element with a lot of windshield. I was also taking two meds that make me photo sensitive, and I forgot my SPF 😱 Four hours later, I had what looked like a raised rash. Working to restore the damage now. Thank you!

Thanks for your great informative videos, Dr. Dray. I always learn something from them. On the subject of antioxidants, wouldn't taking a supplement or eating antioxidant-rich foods do more lasting good than putting something on the skin? It seems like absorption would be better. I've always wondered about topical vs. ingested.
