2:55 For those wondering how this happens, basically by teleporting to a checkpoint before triggering the Broken Odyssey cutscene, you enter it from a different direction. Therefore, since you already have a checkpoint, the game assumed you had already gone through the cutscene. And so the Cappy dialogue never appears...

DogeisCut When fire bros die they are actually still there, they are invisible and when the respawn they come back to life, so if you capture it while it is dying it doesn't have the chance to update and Mario does not get kicked out of the capture mode and you are stuck on a fire bro that you can't even control.

Because people were either stupid, or blinded by the "Legend of Zelda" name it so unrightfully bears. In reality it's just another bloody open world with shitty mechanics (weapon fragility, limited stamina, player character fragility) thrown in for good measure, and with a very disappointing, repetitive-through-optionality narrative to boot; it doesn't even have proper multi-floored dungeons to fit the name! Absolute garbage, 3/10, belongs on my Worst Games of 2017 list - and it doesn't bode well for the next Legend of Zelda game due to its unworthy success boosting the likelihood of said shitty mechanics being brought back. Twilight Princess HD, A Link Between Worlds and The Wind Waker HD are much better Legend of Zelda games - and none of them can be played on the Switch. Wii U > Switch & New 3DS XL > Switch any day.

The goomba-bonus heart glitch is basically the SMO version of the silver star soft lock from SM64DS.

1. defeating ma'am brude before collecting the first moon and then collecting the first moon crashes to game (1.0) 2. going to the stump flag will start the cutscene but will soft lock the game in the middle of it (1.2 and lower) 3. recapture a fire bro in water (wooded kingdom) will soft lock the game and you will see a fire bro throwing nothing (1.2 (It might be possible in 1.1 and lower) 4. killing a piranha plant while you are controlling it with Cappy's capture ability will soft lock the game and then after cappy gets spit out of another one it crashes (1.1 and lower) 5. going to the mushroom kingdom too early (before unlocking luncheon) will soft lock the game (1.0) (to escape this, you need to make Mario jump off a cliff) 6. capturing a Goomba and collecting a crown heart at the same time soft locks the game (1.1 and lower) 7. falling off while cappying is flying will crash the game (1.1 and lower)

Gravity Blast7 that not impressive. Crash Odyssey 7 times in different ways and crash Paper Mario by hammering a block frame perfectly for 416 years and also overbake a cake and crash a Wii U game and not get a screeching sound. AND STILL GET THE FRUIT BACK!

No, everything acts as though you were in the middle of the life-upgrade "cutscene". Which is why you also can't access the menu, map, or snapshot mode.

Theres an eighth way to crash your game, you simply get to lake kingdom, go into the subworld which theres zippers, then basically zip your way to the key, and as soon as you get the key, trigger the maps menu and warp into another checkpoint, i call this the “Zipper Key Map Crash”

2:54 there is actually a way to completely skip the odessey cutscene you literally just have to do the first moon skip and then go find some other checkpoint farther off and activate it then once you get the first moon travel to it and it will not softlock or crash it will just go as normal i even tried to go back to the odessey and nothing happened no cutscene so idk i just found this on my own and thought it was cool so yeah

The time-freeze glitch is an inverse-softlock. It lets you move around, but not interact with anything.

I have another way to crash your game. First, go to the wooded kingdom and go to the observation deck. Go down to the flower field and capture the coin coffer. Then, bring the coin coffer down to the area with all the sherms where you shoot the bricks to create a path for yourself. Kill the sherm and put the coin coffer right in its spawn location. When it does spawn, the coin coffer should be inside the sherm. Capture the coin coffer and you should take damage and capture the coin coffer at the same time. Then uncapture, and then it crashes. Another Mario will fall down through ground for some reason.

It only crashes if you do the boss first then get the first moon. Min captures get the first moon first. Any% does the boss first and doesn't collect the first moon, switching it for the treasure chest.
