@@Hero_of_Sinnohthey shrunk it. Like made it flat instead of round. Also shrunk her bust too. But there are a lot reddit posts and videos comparing Leia pre and post update. She also used to have flash grenades instead of thermal detonators, and Twitter/gaming journals (Kotaku cough cough) raged saying they intentionally made her weaker than the male characters by giving her the flash grenade.

Droids sensing pain would make sense from a self preservation aspect. Droids with 0 ability to know when they were shot or damaged or being attacked would be detrimental. We see in the Clone Wars many times B1s being scared or at least simulating being scared. However they were coded it was with the ability to have pain and fear be known to them.

The CIS made sure to put pain receptors into battle droids just to be cruel so yeah it is accurate

I believe EA also added additional face feature to Luke Skywalker episode 5 because in real life Mark Hamill had a car accident and in the film he does have the scar if you look closely.

The whole story about that being the reason they wrote in the wampa attack is a myth. If it weren’t, then why would they show a close up of his face before the attack?

If you look at his appearance in Corvette Summer, which was filmed a lot closer to the car accident than Empire Strikes Back, he looks the exact same. His face didn't change as much as people made out to believe. He got in better shape, more lean, and was just older for Empire.

3:08 Fun fact: the heavy battle droid has no additional armor on the shoulders, it's just the default shoulder pads on the b1 battle droids, only in that image they were raised up for some reason.

The references are what really help the heroes stand out as unique and were a big highlight in Dice's bf games. It helped make the hero experience that much better.

Yoda reflecting attacks back to his enemies is a complete new information to me. Damn, I never realized.

Note that the Camo Battle Droids were released in mid-2006, a while after ROTS came out. They, as well as several Clones released in that wave were made from Revenge of the Sith concept art.

Nice video, I enjoyed learning about the origins of all the different costumes

I love BF2 2005, but the new BF2 is surprisingly an excelent game with lots of variety

It is awesome how they made sure to make heroes attack patterns based on their lightsaber form

Dude you know DICE wanted to make the commando do first person too, but it would of been to much work. Because they epuld have to do first person on every other unqiue reinforcement unit and that would absolutely destroy the budget

im so glad this battlefront is getting a larger fanbase today years after its release and receiving the recognition it deserves

The ability references were always my favorite with EA’s Battlefront titles. Some are made up but channel the character’s spirt, like Yoda’s dash or Anakin’s force pull, but others like Han’s shoulder charge, Leia’s thermal detonators, or Vader’s lightsaber throw really make you feel like the character. It’s a lot like how older Smash brothers characters were designed compared to Ultimate’s design philosophy.

I love that the first "hidden detail" is that the characters in the game do stuff like the characters in the movies... as if that's not kinda the whole point lol

Anyone remember Rum sleg and his cameo in the phantom menace? He was my favorite bounty hunter.

The ARC trooper outfits (minus the Umbra one) where based off the Star Wars Legion miniatures (I believe the other two where based off the water stickers that came with it)

The jungle camo for the SBDs would be amazing if they had added it to the game

I do perfer Palpatine using his lightsaber, maybe two since he did 1v2 against the Zaberak bros

While Wrecker does use the DC-17M I don't actually think any members of Clone Force 99 use Commando armor. Hunter's helmet actually seems to more resemble that of the Phase III concept art helmet, especially with its more aggressively sloped mouthpiece and connected visor that lacks the T segment.

1:15 he also has a scar I believe on his lips (sry I don’t remember where) in all of the costumes used after episode 5

I hope clone force 99 AKA the bad batch will be in the next battlefront game. EDIT1: or they get THEIR own game

Dengar was the most fun character in the game in battlefront 1

They should have put sidious and ventress with ahsoka and barriss.

I think it was supposed to be some kind of disguise that would trick the Umbra inhabitants to think the Clones are siding with them. I don’t know if that’s the case; we don’t see it in the clone wars, but I do think that was what it was meant to be.
