I love your video! I was definitely feeling like ugh this is going to be a long process, when I first interlocked my hair I just wanted it to start instantly growing. After a while I started to realize this journey is all about learning yourself & being patient, focusing on what’s current & bettering yourself. It helps as an anti-fungal agent. It probably keeps your scalp healthy as well, which promotes growth.

I just started practicing night care like a month ago and the difference is crazy. Granted I still get a louttle frizz but I spend less money for retwist . I usually would get a retwist like every other week. Now it’s been a month since my last retwist and I still think I could go another week or 2

I use absolutely nothing but water. And I don't re twist them much. I might wash them, but I mostly just leave them alone.

These tips will be in use I have 56 locs I want thic locs These locs will have a strong meaning

I am a freeformer. I'm learning that my hair and scalp only likes Rosewater, regular water and cactus only.

I have had my lox’s for almost a year and my love are just now in the “teenage” stage. I have a long way to go but it’s encouraging and kind of disappointing when people ask me how to start locs, they start them then take em out after a week because they don’t look the way they thought. It’s a tough process. Like Joel Embiid says rust the process.

I might be late hopping on this info train but I’ve been growing my hair out since around 9th grade and I started out just twisting my hair with a sponge and continued to do that for two years and just let it grow out until it started hanging down. I got my hair officially twisted two weeks ago from a friend who specializes in locks and braids and I just wanted some advice on how does someone like me keep my scalp and hair clean, healthy and smelling good? Also how often should I retwist it? Should I use any products? If so which ones?

Our hair is almost the same length im 6 years in 😁

So I'm just starting my loc journey, from natural. I tie my hair up at night with a satin scarf. But I've noticed that the area of the twist in my scarf has kinda paused the hair growth. I've tried a bonnet but it comes of. Any suggestions?

A tip if you want to dye your hair without bleaching just use something called developer 30 vol is recommended for darker and thicker hair just mix it with a permanent hair dye and the color will definitely pop just as if you bleached it developer is way less damaging don't leave it on longer than 30 mins that's how I dyed mine
