Gr8 Info: If you're a Florida Resident: Florida residents receiving benefits or food stamps can do land-based saltwater fishing without a license. Any Florida resident can get a free shoreline fishing license, which allows you to fish for saltwater species from land or from structures attached to land.

ALL Florida residents 65 and older can get a Resident Hunting and Fishing License for free. Yes you have to get a license but the license if free, snap or not. Also if you are disabled the same applies to you if you are a Florida resident.

One major issue is that the qualifications for snap and EBT need to be changed government should not go buy what you make be before taxes looks like you make a lot but your bring home Is what our bill's should come out of.

Power bill discounts. My small town electric co offers no late fees if your only household income is from SS, SSI, SSDI, and their late fees are only 1.5% of your bill. My largest electric bill this winter was just over $200 and the late fee, was less than $3 , lol. It's not even worth mentioning as a discount, bcz my summer bills with running an A/C is less than $80, I have a small 700sqft house. When I lived there, Puget power was expensive rates, compared to where I live now in Tn, and even Florida power rates were less than PP. I think St Vincent du Paul is only a west coast charity, bcz they've never heard of it where I live in Tn, nor where I used to live in Florida.

Most places that offer the free fruits & veggie vouchers have a limit on how much you can earn back. For the longest time, you were able to earn back up to $25 from Save-A-Lot & another local grocer near me. Now their limit is $15. Honestly though, I feel that this offer should be made available to ANYONE purchasing local fresh fruits & veggies, to encourage growing & buying locally grown produce. Just my opinion 🤷🏼‍♀️

To get a free Farmer’s Market Voucher from The Human Resources Services Office/ Community Services in your county area you must be 62 and older to receive those vouchers, otherwise your not eligible!

Thank you so much for digging into the abyss to find as much legit assistance for us as you can. Most of your viewers are grateful, I sure am. Far as finding a lot of these perks in my town...I won't be holding my breath. We don't have fast food joints & the small cafes' we have are barely open enough hours for anyone that works to make the whole operation worth the bother. That's why I'm appreciative for places like our food pantry, our Farmer's Market, & the seeds I choose to save from the organic produce which I can grow into my own organic produce for the rest of the year....into the next if I plant the right seeds. Since you've been finding all these places to purchase hot meals with SNAP benefits...I've decided to write my officials another letter to inquire when *hot deli meals* will be added to that list. It doesn't make sense to me that it continues to be left out. Even though a chicken meal at my store went from $8 to almost $13, it's still cheaper than fast food. A whole dinner can also be turned into several meals at minimum for a single person. Depending on said person's creativity, meals could last over a week. The cold chicken is too rubbery & who knows when it was made. They need to allow us *HOT* deli foods. Have a great rest of your week. We're set to be in the 20's for a high the next few days with more snow & lots of wind. I'm putting together a few *garbage stew* meals since winter won't leave us just yet. Take care everyone & have patience with Nicole and Cat. All the current info you need for your state is available in recent videos & links. Nicole's already accomplished the major research process. It's your duty to pick up where she left off.

Actually the cost of fast food has also went up and, the cost of those prepared meals that the stores contracts are just as high and some are higher and frozen meals can be just as high, especially if that’s all your eating and your only getting one serving for each meal!

In Florida, you just need a separate refridgerator and cabinet to store your food. You can use the same cooking appliances.

Not all states give you these options of farmers markets, fast foods or hot restaurants. Oh yes it does happen, I work in a store and I have seen people with $3000. And $7000 on there Snap Cards.

I can definitely see how it happens. I've had a lot of money on mine as well and the reason that's happened is because I was in a position where I couldn't spend my food stamps for a little bit. So the months just rolled on top of each other and then there was also extra amounts given out because of a hurricane or something like that & because of the holidays and then for some reason sometimes the amount I get for food increases for no reason at all. so I can definitely see how it happens?

Amazing! I am 72 on SS & get $30 per month. Big deal. The only time I got a decent amount was during the pandemic. Was able to buy meats & nutritional food. Not anymore.

In Indiana, SNAP recipients can get groceries with Walmart curbside.

Yard sales and eBay, Etsy is a great way to augment your income. Everyone has a skill or hobby that they keep up on. For me it's retro gaming. I have a good eye at buying lots at low prices and flip it for more. Some people crochet or are artists. Make yourself known, and people might commission you. Not everybody can work a traditional job. But that doesn't mean you don't have skills. I've been disabled almost 30 years now. But I'm not wanting for much. I'll take security over being rich. A poor person may do things they're not proud of to survive. But rich people do the same kinds of things because they can. Both people are sus, but for very different motivations. I never want any amount of money that makes me lose my conscience.

Florida is just taking rights away so I don’t look for anything here. But I love your video’s.
