That happened for me today, i was in stitches

The problem people had with this game was they didn't play it correctly. You really had to be mature while playing it to comprehend everything. I'm a huge fan of this game, I've beaten the story like 3 times with all cases being 5 stars, got all the film reels, watched every cut scene, acted like a true detective. I even drove like realistically. Haha. I'm hoping we'll see a sequel to this.

The only thing you need to know about L.A. Noire is that it's a fuckin' masterpiece! Besides The Last Of Us and Journey I've never enjoyed a game that much. It's simply *perfect.*

LA Noire wasn't developed by Rockstar Games, it was made by Team Bondi. Rockstar Games just published it. TB floated on R*s reputation.

this game never gets old .. i play it 4 times and start to play 5th time 2 days ago . epic game . i hope they make a second la noire ..

Oh yeah for sure. I don't know why there isn't more games like this. The atmosphere is great with the cinematic feel, the soundtrack, the story. It's just great. I love the murder investigations. Honestly my favourite game and I feel so nostalgic playing the game or even listening to the soundtrack. Also can we just appreciate how you can just drive around the whole of la. ITS BEAUTIFUL! The detail in the faces makes me feel like I'm watching a movie.

7 Things You just Know If You Played L.A. Noire

The game looks great in black and white too. I turned the colour down and the contrast up to get that noir feel. It works a treat.

This one sure most underrated game of all time! I've never heard of anybody talking about this game like big mainstream games would do. I mean, I've played this game in the first place tho but never one of my friends knew bout this at that time. This sure a masterpiece, they should consider making a sequel on this one for sure. 10/10

The sad thing is you won't see many games like this because they just don't sell as well as stupid shooters with no substance. Really a shame because I love this game and I never completed it. Which is WHY I've been waiting forever for microsoft to make it backwards compatible, I'm tearing my hair out waiting.

Loved this game! One of my favourites!

From what I read LA Noir is based on cases from the 40's that were never solved the writers put there own twists on the stories

Its so awesome to see the actor look exactly the same as the character

I've played a 1,001 games over my lifetime ... and I swear this is in my Top 10 and will be until I die! People, you are missing out on the thinking man's game to play detective in a fully dynamic real world environment with car chases, shoot outs, fisticuffs, interrogations, and so forth. Also: you can play this on Windows 7, 8, and 10. Although to play on Win 10 is very hard to set up (tricky business). I also hear a sequel is in the works with Rockstar Games.

Great game. I don't really understand these people saying it's too long. It's a game you play what you can when you can you don't have a deadline or anything unless you're a professional gamer if it takes you a year to play it then it takes you a year first time I beat it I think it took around four days.

I am not a big gamer or anything but do they make more games like this that are involved and take time. I think I may be the only person in the US who hasn't played Halo. Currently working on Red Dead Redemption which seems to be a good game.

myself and others included have only ever really complained about games being too short. Complaining that a game is too long is like saying hey "that sex was great but it was too long" basically doesn't make sense.

Finished the game today, 7 years later and it still doesn't feel outdated. Facial expressions are on par with the best. Amazing game

I'm a fan of those too, and it's pretty fun.

I was struggling interrogating at first, then suddenly I began to understand how the game works. One of the best games I ever played.

Love the game but free roaming is so boring, would love to see a slightly improved version on PS4, or a sequel instead. The same for Red Dead Redemption too.

Paulo Schio You get to just kill stuff in every other city roamer though. But I'm not against the idea of adding that kind of "arcade" option, as long as it doesn't take away too much time from making a good base game with cops solving cases.

Based on the way its spelt it makes a lot of sense as to why it was pronounced bond-eye, thats how I thought it was pronounced.

I absolutely love cruising vintage LA in this game

It takes real patients and thinking to get anywhere in this game I would love to see a sequel set in the 60s-70s in like NYC

i love watching L.A Noire videos for some reason

Originally it didn't come out on pc for months, but when it did it was a good port and came with the DLC, like a game of the year edition. The game is entertaining and different, i liked it a lot.

@mrP694 I think because when GTA3 came out, and completely refreshed the series as something awesome, it was drawing on the game's simple origins featuring the fictional locations: Liberty, Vice and San Andreas. LA Noire has a real city's name in the title, it's about the city itself, in part, while GTA is an entirely fictional universe that uses NY/NJ, California, and Florida as inspiration.

Probably the most cinematic game I've ever played. Freakin' awesome.

I know but it looks brilliant. It has a taste of everything, Free running, Car chases, Shooting, epic combat and more. They say they tried to do a game where there is no 'modes' as in you can be like jumping and shooting etc. No modes to stop you doing something else.
