OMG SAMEEE! This is weird but i litterally wouldnt play la noire if they had like rdr2 graphics. The game is so much cooler and more og and cozy with the old 2011 graphics

Film Noir: The Video Game Love the this classic genre. The sweet jazz, the hard-boiled detective, the sexy and mysterious femme fatale, the monologuing protagonist, and back-stabbing partners. This is my shit! :D

Well they did have about 20 HD cameras capturing every part of their faces, apparently the guy who played Phelps said that he had thousands of lines of dialogue to deliver and he said it was a strange experience.

The game was made by Team Bondi, Rockstar had nothing to do with the actual development. Rockstar bought Bondi half way through development, they only really held the publishing rights to the game.

Not to mention his phenomenal performance as the mad scientist Walter Bishop in the sci-fi television series Fringe.

I don’t know why but they all feel like such amazing people. I feel like I know them because they look like their characters so much, and I spend so much time with them as Cole Phelps.

Liked Captain Donnelly being voiced by James Connolly. Neat Irish accent like that of a father. My favorite Captain in LA Noire in the Homicide Division cases.

Ah, LA Noire, the game that makes you go "Hey, I know this guy!" every 10 minutes...

Wow they've done a brilliant job with the characters

She's like the 11th hottest girl on the list. Magarite Cansino (1:21) and Marie Phelps (0:15) are way hotter. I'd also take Heather Swanson (4:14), Michelle Moller (4:39), Lorna Pattison (4:55), Candy Edwards (5:18), Page Franklin (6:45), Doris West (8:18), Haley Ramm (8:51) over Elsa.

Thats mainly the reason why team bondi went into bankruptcy after the production of this game , imagine hours of captures , thousands of actors , building a new tech from scratch like they did .

Initially the project was a sony game back in 2005 but the costs got so demanding for sony , that they sold it to Rockstar and the project was mess generally , thousands of 10 hours + work crunches , peoples that got their names removed from the credits because of the director seeing those who left the company as traitors

I do hope if Rockstar makes a sequel, they will hire Andrea Romano as the voice casting director, in everything she has been involved with, she always ends up getting the greatest main cast and bit parts & guest stars, she's the best !!!

from my experience in watching animated shows where a woman named Andrea Romano hires the voice acting, I came to appreciate and respect not just voice actors, but live actors who get in front of the mike too especially, so when I find out certain people I like are spitting into the foam (talking into the mic), I love it and was very surprised to see some of the stars here than I never would have imagined would agree to do any voice acting, it's awesome to see these surprises

My favorite police captain was Donnelly, voiced by Andrew Connolly. I wish real cops talked like that. Also John Noble was a great bad guy. What a terrific actor.

Awesome how peter blomquist does the voice of two antagonists

I recently found out that some of the actors in this game did stuff for Criminal Minds... Fischler played the mobster Jack Fahey in the episode called Lauren. Todhunter played as the serial killer in the episode called The Stranger. Adam J Harrington played as the serial killer in the episode called #6. Matthew Del Negro played Detective David Rizzo in the episode called Carbon Copy. Keith Szarabajka played the Detective Marty Friedman in the episode called All That Remains.

Outstanding voice acting. Fantastic staff. A pleasure just listening to them.

Stefan Bekowsky is my fav partner in the game

It's super cool to see and hear some familiar faces & voices playing through this again and again. Truly a great and unique game.

I really think L.A Noire set the bar really high with the acting and facial software , I believe video games are going to be used for movies or TV dramas so the audience can be apart of the action

What an awesome game, best face animations ever up to this day.

LA Noire really gave us one of the most unique experiences in gaming. The closest we've come to an interactive Hollywood film with recognizable faces. I was watching Mad Men around the same time I was playing it and I really like how I was really playing as Aaron Staton and not just his voice.

Never realized Peter Blomqvist was Dr. Fontaine, he also played Micah in RDR2

la noire had everything that makes it a great game, story, characters, setting and humor

Forgot Dom Kembry who played the Boxer forgot the name of the case he also voiced Mark Hammond in "The Getaway"

Damn what a cast this game is a masterpiece

This is basically "Hey I know that person, but I don't know their name" The Game. Although Phelps wasn't the person I thought he was, again I can't remember their name. Some recognisable faces for sure, but they had modified some of the faces I noticed, in order to suit the time period. I have seen a video where the women had to have their hair tied back, so it wouldn't interfere with the face capture.

Just realised that peter blomquist is not only Harlan fontane, but also micah bell from red dead redemption 2. Neat.

That moment you realize Harlan Fontaine and Micah Bell are the same person.

Roy Earl was probably my favorite character. Loved his asshole personality.
