Preamp: ito yung unit sa loob ng interface na nagpapalakas sa mic at instrument level signals para maging line level ito. Sa video @pax is actually pointing sa preamp gain (volume, level knob). Preamp gain knob controls how much the preamp will amplify the signal. So the correct term is gain knob hehe. USB-C: Suggested din ang USB-C kasi mas mataas ang binibigay na current nito. Yung mga bagong interface mas malakas kumuha ng kuryente from the USB port so that it can power yung mga high impedance na headphones at mas malakas ang gain ng preamps :) Studio One Artist: Hindi siya actually lite version. Full version siya but stripped down of a few features but still can be used professionally. Unlike Ableton Live Lite. Open back headphones: great for mixing kasi mas open sounding, wider soundstage and more natural sound because of the reduced boundary effect from closed back headphones. Types of mics: there are more than 3 types of mics (carbon mic, crystal piezo mic etc.) but those two you've said are the most common followed by the ribbon type mic. 85dBSPL: that's what the maximum recomendation is for health and hearing safety reasons but of course use the monitors as quietly as you can para mapahaba ang buhay ng tenga. PL: more correct term yung 1/4" plug pero ayun, tama ka lodi, mas kilala nga sa pinas bilang PL haha. TRIVIA: originated siya as PL55 military standard plug for radio devices kaya naging PL haha. Cable length: ok lang kahit medyo mahaba as long as it is balanced a balanced cable up to 30ft but shorter is better pa rin. That is more important sa unbalanced cables. Gain loudest possible without clipping: actually I suggest na nasa -12dBFS instead of loudest without clipping. That is a thing of the past na din and that is mostly true sa all analog gear because of what we call signal to noise ratio. Modern interfaces have very quiet preamps kaya kahit mababa ang gain ok pa rin siya, what's important is that it won't clip sa kahit anong part ng recording.

So mej hinay sa pag gamit ng "wrong" haha. You have to understsnd, this is a video for beginners, I'm not expecting these kids to understand what LUFS is. Or what carbon mics are. Or the significance of current in a Type C cable. Not yet. We will get there. Pero again I appreciate this. Hey do a video for this! Para dumami yung content creators diba?
