There aren’t that many Italian places in Provo, but one place we really like is Magleby’s! Their main location is in springville but they have a smaller location in Provo too! If you go you HAVE to try the chocolate cake 😋

Bombay House is fantastic Indian food. There was a Sri Lankan restuarant in a restored historic home about two blocks down the road From Bombay House that only lasted about a year. Hmmmm, yummy. Gurus is another favorite (Corner of University and historic Main St.). They have a bakery next door and outside patio. Great salads, soups, and a host of specialty plates that cannot be found anywhere else. The patio dining in the summer is the best. I eat breakfast there every Sat. morning and people watch.

Mo' Bettahs isn't bad, but go check out Sweets on Columbia Lane instead. Very similar, but I liked ot a lot more. The only downside is that they seem to only be open for lunch hours. I prefer Cafe Rio over Costa Vida, but it's not a strong preference. I almost always get the sweet pork quesadilla with the "salad" on top. Sodaliscious is a lot of money for a soda, but they're sooooo good. Definitely a guilty pleasure place to go. I need to check out Golden Thai. I usually go to restaurants with a friend who doesn't like spicy food, so sadly I haven't gone to any Thai places around here. I haven't heard of Culichi Kitchen, but I've been to Don Joaquin, and I thought it was pretty good. If it's better than Don Joaquin then I guess I need to add Culichi Kitchen to the list of places to visit. I thought Crumble was overrated actually. They're good cookies and they're huge, but also pretty expensive. I would rather get a donut from Macey's bakery than a cookie from Crumble, and it's a fraction of the price. I really need to go to Bombay house. I have a coworker from India who recommends it, so you know it's authentic. I'm so happy you mentioned Maria Bonita's! Not many people seem to know about it, but of the Mexican restaurants I've been to in the area, Maria Bonita's is my favorite.

I'm surprised that Zupas didn't make the list. They have good salads, fantastic soups, and I've tried almost all of their sandwiches and loved most of them.

…Mo’bettahs…. :( maybe they haven’t traveled much outside of Utah. Just a heads up if you’re an experienced foodie, based on their first 3 recommendations, watch another video. Aubergine, Pogos pizza & chicken, and Sweetlake biscuits & limeade are EASILY better substitutes. Their videos recommendations were like recommending In n Out. We all love that quality, but not what you’re looking for when you want to know the inside scoop. 🤷🏻‍♀️
