The thing that annoys me here is that people say I have weird accent, actually I heard here that I have accents from countries I have never travelled to and don’t speak those languages 😂😂 most of the people in Australia probably never left Australia and they don’t know the world. I am a polyglot so how can they say every day I have an accent from somewhere in the world I have never been to lol I hate it

@@overseasstudentsaustralia AU is a very very large country with a small population... it has always been a challenge with communications and transport... no fast trains between cities.. huge distances for telecommunications networks.. certainly we dont have the population density or geographic size of Europe or some countries in Asia where the internet is top speed (like South Korea). People want to come here for less crowds and open space and clean air - but then expect all the benefits of central Europe or an Asian metropolis.....

@@overseasstudentsaustralia It is because of the high wages here. In many SE Asian capitals shopping is open til very late at night. Shop owners/companies don't see it as profitable to pay AU wages for so many hours day and night. .. also, in AU 'shopping' was never seen as a passtime... people eat out/ see films / go to the theatre/ meet friends / go to the pub / see a sporting event etc at night... for many years it was only 'thursday night shopping' where opening hours were extended til 9pm. Nothing like being out at midnight in the markets of Seoul or Bangkok or KL... also we have small populations here.. so there are many contributing factors to why we don't have sops open til very late at night --- and many people live in the urban sprawl too... less population density in the cities compared to Asian capitals..

Coming to Australia there will be times that people would and will talk behind your backing being racist. I myself love just joking around cause of the scammer scenario in India and the way they talk. But don't take it to heart. If they are full on Racist then that's a problem, Be careful. But just follow the road rules if you drive stay left if your going slow. Go right to overtake and if someone is beeping make way.
