I have learned that the only person that I can control is myself. When there is a disagreement or an argument, be the person to keep your emotions under control. It's not easy because to control our tongue means that we are fighting against our flesh. To speak words in angry emotion will pierce the heart of your partner & cause a wound that will leave a permanent scar. Lastly, saying I'm sorry & apologizing for the words you spoke or the actions you made against your relationship will never erase the scar that is left. Control your tongue & emotions, be patient & understand where your partner is coming from and TOGETHER, as a unit, talk things out work together as a unit. I have learned this & have taught my boys the very same thing, especially when I hear them in the idle of a disagreement. I will stop both of them and calmly walk them through the process in hopes they learn from it. God bless you both🙏❤🤗

    1. First Build yourself - have something to offer ,become your biggest supporter 2. Make yourself Available- have a welcoming energy - put yourself out there 3.Become his biggest support , pray for him 4. Build your own spiritual life, have a relationship with God first 5. Have a Humble spirit , submissive ,meekness 6.give him some space, be able to have your own life within your relationship 7. Be willing to challenge him to be better, be willing to call out his wrongs, Bonus: don’t put your business out there, be drama free , workout your problems not post them … be able to communicate your disagreement and work through them.

This brings attention to the work we all should be doing to be able to have the tools and grace to have that relationship that honors God. So thank you for pointing out the importance of the individual work that God wants to do in us. God wants two whole people to become one. We must challenge our mentality and thoughts and submit it to the truth of the word. So thank you!

Yes. Christians shouldn't be mad at #5 as men are called to be the head of the house so we are to submit to them. I watched a miles munroe sermon being single part 2 and he explained this to perfectly. That in front of a good man is a good woman. So when the devil pushes on her she falls on her husband. Her husband in turn falls on the Spirit who falls on Jesus who falls on God.

Old school , high quality men aren’t worried about women wanting what he has. He’s a real man. Weak men who are looking for a breadwinner woman are so plentiful today. Coercive men who listen to KS are not whole men. Quality women won’t level down to less. Women who do the most while he lays back and does whatevet he wants with whomever are women in desperation. Men who are insecure are afraid to approach. Women chasing and shooting their shot are highly usable to men, but not high value women.

On a personal relationship level with God, people should avoid dissing their ex's on social media anyway. It's a form of gossiping, and even if you've been legitimately hurt/betrayed by the other party, God will not favour idle lips. It's making God's word on gossiping, returning to him void. This is something God spoke to me, when my ex was dissing me and our 24 year marriage on his FB page. He was the one who chose to leave through adultery, but he was dissing me. It didn't come often, but there were several temptations to start defending myself on my page. Start telling my side of the story, so to speak. But the Spirit said, don't even go there daughter. That is beneath Christ, whom you are seated in. Listening to the Spirit, drew me closer to God and sped up my healing process. It matters more what God says about you, than others do. I really needed to lean into him on that. So if the temptation ever comes to start dissing your ex on social media, put your flesh in it's place by praying for the spirit to counsel you in God's truth.

This was amazing! The only thing from this video I didn't wholly agree with is when Tovares, you mentioned that women can overlook the lack of respect, and that men can overlook the lack of love. I do believe that the Word directs it specifically is because it may be the things we value the most (women - love and men - respect) so it's significant, but it doesn't mean that we can overlook the lack of the other in a relationship just because we need the other more :)

Many humble women are coerced by men into abusive situations. Submission is not the same thing as abuse Many of the best women are single because of low self esteem men who expect to be in charge need her to be a doormat.

Yes some men have used submission so negatively that a woman who has been in this situation does not want to hear those words, but guard your heart and watch his actions! Does he submit to God’s word. How can you submit to him if he never opens the Bible to read what God ask of him as a husband.

Kevin had some good points but he was very secular in his views. Thinking that a woman isn’t worthy of a relationship after her 30’s is not helping women who are waiting on a Godly man. Men that are looking for only young women who wear a size 4 in dress, yet they don’t workout or eat healthy are hypocrites! We come in all shapes and sizes and if that’s what Kevin likes great, but not all men go for slim girls, some men like them curvy, thick, etc… Love for women is something Kevin did not have but he wanted respect.

It all depends on his love language. You can do all the right things, but if it isn’t how he receives love, you can feel like you’re not getting through to him.

What if the girl is underage.. I don’t want to force myself into a relationship with a girl that’s 4 years younger than me.. but if I feel as if god approves I don’t want that to be the reason I can’t pursue..

Well it depends what you mean by “underage” 😕. I’m assuming you just mean the age gap between you is more than you expected. Tbh though, 4 years difference is nothing at all. If she’s legally/biologically underage then that would be messed up on your part. I would be careful with how you phrase certain things.

Stay within legal boundaries. A 4 year age difference in general is NOT a strange age gap… that’s pretty much in the same age group. With that said, please don’t pursue underage women and don’t go into the relationship with the desire to control and manipulate… that is self-serving and cruel behavior.

I was thinking that too. Cause I am a private person and there were a few times I had my profile public BUT was not being followed by Christian people, only worldly people or some that were just desperate for friends and/or creepy old dudes. I quickly went back to private.
