honestly though lol. it actually made it a little less fun imo because it’s just like “who looks the ugliest-you? okay, you don’t get the car” as opposed to the contestants having to actually think about things more, consider each other’s situation, etc.

Definitely should have skipped the photo round you can visually tell how horrible that makes someone feel and it feels worst watching a minor be voted off by looks.

I really liked how respectful and chipper everybody was. I would just like to offer a piece of advice to the director: Please don’t make people be eliminated buy being perceived as “less attractive.” I think most people would find that uncomfortable and the line up had young teens who are at an age where they naturally feel insecure about the way they look and how they’re perceived.

I feel like Lotus' mood changed after being voted out for having the worst student ID. I think it was stupid to include that as a round, voting on someone's looks. Hopefully, it did not affect her.

This is the good representation of our teenagers. I'm working at a place that's hiring a lot of teenagers, and they feel so different from my generation (or maybe where I was brought up) they are all so kind and understanding.

So idk how it works for companies but you can gift someone an amount of money without that person being taxed on it. I can’t be bothered to get the exact number. That’s why one of the catches of KZreadrs gifting expensive ass gifts is once you are in possession, you have to pay taxes. I’m talking like Teslas level. Man, I found this video kind of disappointing. Why were two of the questions based on popularity and attractiveness? Not cool for young people who are at an age where they will most likely be hyper aware of how they are perceived and what their positionality is within social circles. I am unsure why the directors used 2 possible points of insecurity as a question. Not very thoughtful on behalf of the adults in the room. The young people were cool though! So lovely to see how kindly they interacted with one another.

Second, confirm you have the means to keep a car (be able to afford gas and potential repairs, have a place to park it, etc). I liked how many of them mentioned what they'd use it for though, especially those who compared to their current situation.

Between going out to play softball/hang out with firends and commune to take classes in order to get a better education and work, I would choose the later, but at least it was a fair decision and Nova really wanted the car (she even spoke first). I like how everybody was honest and respectful. I hope everyone get a car in the future and live a happy life.

Seeing this group interact made me cry, in a literal way. I didn’t know, almost being in my fourties‘ by now, how much it still hits me that I never had (a group or single) friends like that, and especially in my teens I really would have needed some. The reasons for being eliminated was so dumb like why did y’all choose those categories?… like being eliminated by popularity or looks is so mean

I appreciate the director / the cut team to come up with some prompts etc tactics to keep this more civil than the earlier ones from this series, but the idea of elimination based on looks was lazy from cut's part and highly uncomfortable for everybody in the video!!!

these 1000 to 1 videos always rub me the wrong way and feel uncomfortable to watch, especially when the CUT crew ask weird question to stir things up, like the "rank yourselves from least to most popular", like what does that have to do with the topic of the video? it is just meant to cause drama and turn people against each other. also the people who were already eliminated should not have a say over who gets eliminated next. but of course we know that CUT loves drama and controversy.

Hadn’t thought about that and it’s very true. I stopped following Jubilee because of how they took “creating drama” to the extreme just for the likes and also how people of certain communities are thrown under the bus in the process. I definitely agree that the interactions should be centered around the topic of the video (in this video’s case: wanting/having a car) in a constructive manner rather than a destructive manner. Having eliminations is fine. I just think that they can reach the same goal without taunting the participants into tearing each other down.

I’m old yet still watch Cut and Jubilee. I always ask myself why. Sometimes they’re fun; many times, however, I feel I’ve wasted my time.

Before even starting the video, I want to say that I REALLY enjoy charity videos like this and how much they do for people. I would've given anything to have a chance like this growing up. I would really love to see more genuine giving content like this, and massive props to Cut for making it happen. ❤
