@@PulledPurk, the DX7 can make nice cowbell sounds. Not everyone likes FM, but it's more flexible than people give it credit for. It's got a bad reputation because Yamaha chose to make it incredibly awkward to program. The MODX uses the Montage FM(-X) engine, which is an extension of the original DX7 FM engine: 8 operators instead of 6, several waveforms instead of just sine, and 128 voice polyphony instead of 16. The DX7 capabilities are notionally a true subset of the Montage capabilities, so it should be able to reproduce (almost, there may be some subtle aliasing effects) all DX7 sounds quite faithfully. (I wouldn't be surprised if the Montage could actually understand DX7 sysex files and convert them to Montage patches.)

Bruce Hornsby -The Range is one of the most amazing pieces of music I have ever heard! Thank you Doctor Mix for reminding me of this amazing song!

FANTASTIC video, thanks man
I just found myself on this channel... then I hears "Bruce Hornsby " I IMMEDIATELY HIT LIKE!!! 'The Way It Is' is so underrated! Thanks! Then every other composition was beautiful. This is fantastic!
Robert Miles - Childeren..... absolute the best
I like the rawness on his presentation.
Super inspiring as ALWAYS! Thank you!
You're ridiculously good man! You're videos always brighten my day, wish I knew you. Live long prosperous and never change brother!
Loved the Joplin. Used to play that one myself. Great hand workout piece.
That's just the way it is! One of the best albums of all time. You have to listen to it completely to appreciate his exceptional talent as a keyboardist/pianist.
So amazing, you have the fingers of a 90 year old granny.. beautiful, just beautiful
I love this guy! He is brilliant and happy. thanks for bringing such good vibes here!
Love it! I play by ear and Robert Miles "Children" was one of my first. Glad to see I got it pretty much spot on. Fantastic work, sir!

Great enthusiasm for music its so refreshing! Keep going dr mix!
God, I miss Robert Miles. Rest in peace.
Hold the line by Toto. Good Times must be the holy grail of super riffs - not only the keyboard, but the bass and the guitar too play riffs which are super, super famous - all different though, and they complement one another in a magic way.
AMAZING Doctor Mix !!!
Watching you geek out over this stuff makes me geek out over this stuff! You're great!
My god, the second song is an absolute legend! Thanks for introducing it to me.
Nice choices. You have mad skill on that Joplin rag, man! All good wishes for 2019!

Those are some great riffs,! Bruce Hornsby's "The Way It Is" was one of many songs that made me want to play way back when. I also loved the Wurlitzer ones too.
Well done...very inspiring, thanks
Could he be anymore adorable🤗🤗🤗😘 pure talented!!!

i was blown away when you played children...i have that album...epic so epic...you rock
Claudio what big hands you’ve got! That Db to F left hand in Black Gold of the Sun is like what??!!!
Robert Miles Children is one of the greatest tracks ever recorded!
Gawd knows there are some awesome riffs in popular music, Billy Joel and Elton John have more than their fair share or the Beetles before them. That said there are amazing pieces of music with memorable hooks and riffs for so many musical genres. Here are some of my favorites; “Things with Wings” - Liz Story “Strangers in a Car” - Marc Cohn “Angel Eyes” - Jim Brickman “Neverland” - Suzanne Chain
Simply great!
Love your channel! You are so talented and so fun to watch. Thanks for sharing your perspective on music!

"Children" isn't an Italian melodic tradition. It's a Russian, based on national folklore songs. Read here en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Children_(Robert_Miles_composition) "Critic Boris Barabanov claimed a similarity between "Children" and Russian singer Garik Sukachov's song "Напои меня водой" ("Napoi menia vodoi" - "Quench my thirst"), and says the song was written before "Children". Sukachov explained that he gave his consent for the melody to be used"
