Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This KZread channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.
If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.

@RickShielsPGA these videos have drastically improved my game. There are 100’s if not 1000’s of videos on youtube trying to fix your game. If I retain your info, slow it down while practicing, and then get the muscle memory, there are no betting instructions anywhere than yours. It sound weird but i literally love you man. You know how frustrating golf can be, but when you know and feel what you’re doing wrong and can fix it, it makes it a “challenge” instead of frustrating. I appreciate you so much my man thank you for every second you put into this for your fans and fans of golf 🙏🏼

Good tips. My whole game improved when I learned to make almost all 3-footers. So to "think positive" about longer putts, I would move half way closer to the hole and practice my stroke. I knew I could make that so I could see the longer putt rolling over my practice stroke line. Helped with confidence and positivity. Also makes lag putting easier.

Man, I’ve watched about a dozen of your videos and have really seen my game improve. I was apprehensive to start watching golf tip videos at first because I thought that I would get too much info in my head and just complicate things further. But I’ve picked up just a tip or two in each of your videos and never feel like I’m being over loaded with technicalities. Thanks so much for the lessons!

I love the tip of a tee upside down as a target! I've been trying this around the house and that little bit of positive feedback when knocking the tee over is surprisingly satisfying! I also tried the warm up drill of getting the green speed by putting to the edge of the green from short, medium, and long range before a par 3 round yesterday and I was even par after 5 holes for the first time in my life! My putting was dialed in. Thank you!

Rick, great vid. Thank you. One tip you could possibly add is for people to try and pick the specific part of the hole they want the ball to roll into from, like a clock face. Golfers can tend to see the front of the hole generally as the entry point for all their putts, which while understandable, is not the widest part of the hole for a breaking putt. So for example, if it's a breaking right to left putt, even though the widest entry point is usually between say 4 o'clock and 5.30, depending on the strength of the break (i.e. if 6 o'clock is the closest point to the player), they still somehow see the 6 o'clock point as the entry point. After all, it is the widest point from their view when they're putting. If we can see/feel the entry point this can help us commit, and help prevent us "chickening out" from going high enough. Next time, have a look at the hole from the entry you want the ball to take. Just quickly. If your brain can see the ball entering at say 4 o'clock you will probably 1. be more willing to roll it high enough and 2. benefit by having the ball entering the hole at it's widest entry point, a double benefit. Cheers.
