I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Men and women think very differently from each other. It seems like it's impossible for men and women to emotionally connect with each other. I heard that gay and lesbian couples are happier than straight couples are, and I heard that gay and lesbian relationships are healthier than straight relationships are. The more similar you are to someone, the more easier it is to bond and connect with them. People of the same sex/gender understand each other more easily, and there are no inbuilt societal power imbalances as there are between opposite-sex couples. Gay and lesbian couples understand each other better than straight couples do (due to them being the same gender as each other). I heard that most straight couples are not happy being together, and I heard that people who are straight are much happier and much better off being single than they are being in a romantic relationship.

I had a crush on my best friend for approx 10 years. He went and got married and had two children. I went to their wedding and as I drove away from that day, my heart shattered because there was no chance for us now... But now, he is divorced ..... We have been together for 5 years now and he is engaged to me 🥰🥰🥰 Don't give up hope! The best relationships are built on a solid foundation of friendship! When we were both adults, I told my best friend I used to have a crush on him when we were teens. I could tell he was flattered by the notion. We still have a strange close connection, ever since we were teens. And yes, strangers to this day often think we are bf/gf. But he’s gay and I think I always knew (he only officially came out when he was in his twenties) Some times it’s not a romantic connection, or not vice versa anyway, but it can still be deep and meaningful. All the signs mentioned in the vid here refer to us both, except he has been in two longterm relationships and I have also been with someone off and on. But we love eachother, he knows if he ever needs a kidney that he can have mine. I told him one drunk Christmas (and later confirmed when I was sober that the deal still stands) It’s kinda like soulmates, without the romantic element in it. I am ok that we are not together as a couple, because I think he deserves better than what I have to offer anyways, and I believe he has that now. I just want to see him happy. Being a part of his life as a friend is good enough for me. Anyway, maybe this story is useful to someone.

Ah, reminds me of my OCs, Courtney and Stella. They've been best friends since kindergarten and are now in high school. Courtney’s been starting to have feelings for Stella. It would be helpful to remind people that best friends often do help each other when the other one is feeling down. Things like this have been used against me when I was falsely accused of having these feelings for someone who I never had those feelings for. I've already stopped making good friends with members of the opposite sex so I can avoid my intentions being mistaken. If we can't help each other when we're feeling down without it being mistaken for flirting, that's not exactly the definition of a good friendship, much less best friends. I now have to limit myself to almost never speaking, never hanging out, never asking how their day is going (which I used to do with my friendships with both men and women), never texting, never calling, and never excited to see them in public. Basically, a weak friendship that is borderline to acquaintanceship. If I have a crush on someone, I'm direct about it. That hasn't spared me from being mistaken, though. So, it'll help to remind people that some of these are not always a sign.

When I watch these videos about how to spot signs of potential attraction from others, I'm mainly checking for any signs I might be displaying toward others. I had particular interest in this video because I wouldn't consider dating anyone I don't know, and if I develop attraction toward anyone it would be a familiar and trusted friend that I'd already feel close with.

So um, it turns out it was true. So he's my boyfriend now. 💖

I've seen quite a few of these signs before they even told me. It's one thing to post videos that are helpful, but why does it feel like the videos of this channel keep following my life as new things happen?

My best friends does everything except physical involved actions since it's a long distance "friendship" (we're French and around 5 years ago her family left to Canada, I always dreamt to live there even before I met her). I think I love her and she gives out every signals this video indicates. I think it might be a big double crush but I want to make things right and wait until in one year (or less) I meet her in Canada (i'm supposed to move out there). I hope I'll bring enough courage to confess to her when the time's right!

So I clicked on this video expecting to relate to more than half of these but I hit every single one. I’m definitely the best friend with a crush. My family (mostly my uncle I don’t see much) always asks if me and my best friend are dating when she comes along with me to family events.

Watching this makes me feel like I'm trapped in a love triangle.

I met this girl last year, and we instantly became great friends. When I started noticing my feelings for her, I told my other close friends who feel like I should just ask her out already. We use pet names, including things like baby, my love, and dear, and are always hugging and holding hands. We also often text each other saying "I love you", using different heart emojis, or saying how we miss the other over the span of a single weekend or day off. She made me realize my sexuality, and now I am afraid that she might not see me the same way, and that this is all platonic, as we are both girls. She means the world to me, and I don't want to lose what I do have if she doesn't like me back. It's so hard for me, and my feelings keep getting stronger. Should I just go for it? Or is this an exception because it's 2 girls? I don't know, but I would love to find out

I am a college student, and she is transferring to my school come the next spring, and she plans on being my roommate. We sit on call now every night, sometimes through the day too, and her whole family loves me. We are planning to have our first sleepover soon, and she wants to plan it to make it “perfect”. Additionally, you know the eyebrow tease thingy? She LOVES doing it to me, claiming she likes how it makes me “panic”. I haven’t asked her out yet, but I did find out she is bi, single, and with the fact that she likes to make me panic? Plus, she came to visit me once last semester, only for a short while, but there was definitely some lip contact while we cuddled. I think once she moves in, it’ll be easier to tell her my feelings, but I think it is safe to say the light is green!

No… Don't beat yourself up, my person! I'm sure there is someone out there who has a crush on you, and if not, then I'm sure someone will soon. One thing that's for sure is that God will always love you, no matter what. And if you hate yourself, than maybe you should see a psychiatrist or at least try to improve yourself and focus on your good qualities instead of your bad qualities? Don't beat yourself up! Just remember, that no matter your current condition, that God will always love you, and there are likely others who love you, too, so don't beat yourself up, for their sake.

I mean all signs are kinda right 1. Not completely but the friend group thinks we should date. 2. Not so much, only a few times 3. She touches me some times when we talk and she bumps me to tease me if i teased her. 4. Yeees. But when her twin is there she is usally talks more with others. Her and her twin sister both go to the same school in the same year. 5. A few gestures here and there. 6. Yup this is true. Takes care of me mentally. Protects me from falling down cause of stress and bad thoughts.
