Putting in effort for a relationship is only a reflection of the amount the guy wants the relationship in any case guys have been doing this forever despite what could be good for them they try for what they want. As far as women are concerned a woman could leave her phone because she hasn't gotten a text or a text message worthy of response she is going to not text you if she feels you're being disrespectful or inconsiderate. Girls can tell when a guy is full of shit right from the start. If guys feel it is important to them that they treat women disrespectfully they should prepare themselves to be single for the rest of their natural lives my mother made the right decision with my father but my parents aren't together anymore I have no regrets to this my father is and always have been a good man as a person so I consider it a low blow to be taken out with this parental term people sometimes feel they can use although it's completely wrong and it couldn't be applied and is known that could be said to anyone alive or has ever, but is hate crime which is wrong and really irrelevant should anyone decide to use that attack on me. Recognize that women have needs just like men do and if she feels she's going without love and respect she'll ultimately decide to look for how to get it this means what you do can very well land the girl succeptibly into the hands of misleading advice she'll take to try and listen to in order to get things to be that way. Here's the problem it's cluttering to a girl who goes on her own trying to figure out if the guy likes her or not the way I see it is if you try talking to the girl respectively because just like you could think she has an alteriour motive, she could think you do to. Hers could be entirely innocent, but it strikes you as she's trying to use you for something. Many times women could be under the condition that they're miserable at texting they might be trying to impress you all just as much as guys try to impress girls so it may take them forever to come up with the perfect text for you. What's really the problem here??? A guy shows a girl all the disrespect they've learned to have for them from the rap song they heard whenever and expect the girl to like that think logically here what girl in their right mind would consider that acceptable. Guys just need to be cold when they dislike a girl there's no need to be hot at all.

Girls to ghost your ghost is the solution to your problem. I had people block me only to lift their blocks after they seen I wasn't afflicted by it anymore. He wants to be liked that's all that matters that's all that he is looking for with you this is the perfect opportunity to show him what you're made of show him what he's missing out on you'd been guilttripped enough haven't you should you really have to feel bad about a guy who's heart was supposed to have compelled him about giving to you be it effort or anything else, that you justify his wrongdoing each and every time. I left and leaving guys that do this that way we are not forcing our presence upon each other. There is a penalty to forcing a relationship on someone who doesn't want it as much as you do. And those guys who only have conversation respondes, but never initiate because initiation of conversation is enthusiasm in action which love itself cannot exist without enthusiasm many girls again will try to justify this, girls that are possibly considering you their soulmates so it can really hurt the girl to find out this is really the truth for your kind. Figuring out to be a shy guy isn't really a thing. Hot and cold guys please just be cold breadcrumbs we don't want your bread at all. All I got to say is have the nerve to tell us you don't like us. Not you'll like us sometime in the mysterious future or in the past that's ridiculous to be so scared to tell the truth. I can. Maybe just maybe if you started being truthful you'll have the gift to read us like how we seem to have a gift of reading you. If you're a guy thinking you didn't get texts from a girl so she's playing mind games learn to be considerate and respectful. She could like that she could like when a guy considers her as his equal. I am definitely someone who supports asking permission for this or that this way you get permission, or you get no permission elsewise it's wise to assume that you get none if you don't ask is it okay for me to... Don't be presumptuous if you want girls to talk to you all the things to be, don't be that. Treat her fairly she's going to recognize what you do if it's natural or if it's a wise decision to move forward with you we could nitpick you just as much as you can nitpick us.

My behaviors when I am not that I to him. I ignore his calls, because they feel inconvenient. When he starts saying things along the line of having a future, I change the subject. I make comments about us being friends, never about us being anything more than friends. The main reason that I end up more or less sidestepping is because a man is moving too fast. I have had man talk about the possibility of marriage before I have even decided if I want a second date. I want to get to know him and I want him to want to know me. If he is pushing for too much too soon, it comes off as desperately wanting a mate and I almost feel like the only qualifying attribute I need is a pulse.

We Italians hate disrespect and ignorance and a guy we are going out with checking out other women in front of our face is disrespectful and ignorant not someone with upgraditis because we are fine even if we gain a few pounds from eating whatever they eat. Imagine if we got pregnant with their kid! May God forbid that! If we did then those a-holes checking out other women in front of us would be doing disrespectful and ignorant things like that all the time till we had the baby or babies if we are pregnant with twins or triplets or more and lost the baby weight. It is not fair because we respect them even when they are overweight by not checking out other men like a disrespectful and ignorant person in front of them.

I'm in the process of going through this & initially I didn't like him but we started hanging & I did start liking him & now he is cold it's been 7 days & he hasn't said a word & i haven't either. After my divorce I dated around quite a bit. Tall, dark, and handsome men. I had a great connection with all of them but like you said, they all ended it for some specific reason. Then I met this guy who was not my type at ALL...I even left in the middle of our date, I never wanted to see him again, and avoided his texts. Oddly enough I gave in and gave him a chance. Great advice! We spend too much time and energy on somebody that is not into us. Everybody is not a match, so if it don't fit, don't force it. Just be open for the person that will be into you.

@edith,probably because of trauma bonding.I am addicted to him and I feel no matter how much I try to keep the no contact I fail and keep going back to him,eventually blame myself after some time as I forget everything he did to me,and think it’s probably not a big deal,and he breaks me again and again,and I just feel like he won,and I lost,he has total control over me,but this time I broke up with him again for the infinite time,I hope god helps me to heal and not go back again.

I remember telling a guy so what are we, because if we are not girlfriend and boyfriend. I'm free to go out with others. He did say, well if I'm spending time with you, that means we are together. I said, well you're not saying it, so guess we are just friends.

I’m new to your channel Matt and I’m loving your content. Thank you 🙏🏻 For me, you touched on one of my primary perspectives with any relationship. I gauge a relationship and the strength of the relationship by the other persons curiosity for question asking. If someone isn’t asking me about me, likes and dislikes, and wanting to actually know who I am, then I know that relationship won’t go anywhere. If I’m always volunteering then it’s too one sided for me and I get bored very easily. It’s a two way street for me.

i've learned that if i'm unclear, then i'm in limbo which means he's not interested. it's not only hard to admit, but it's not comfortable to communicate it to him. so much easier to do a slow fade. LOL

Discovering this video (and your channel) nearly 2 years after it was published, but it hit me right at the perfect time. Thank you for the raw truth!

I wish I knew this video earlier, it would have been avoiding me several and wasted months. Being patient is not always a solution. My instinct was telling me to leave but I needed to understand ... like often. And thanks to your videos, even when it was about men I realized that it could apply to me too. It’s all about feeling and instinct. I am not very good at verbalizing what my intuition tells me so thanks for this, I will finally change the gear.

Also i think i would treat them more like a friend than a romantic inteterest. Not as much physical contact or flirting.

What I do? I'm a woman. I say, "Hey… sorry. I like you, you're a great friend but I'm not into you that way." ;-) People always say how complicated women are and that men are so much more direct and straightforward. Nah. Not my experience.

Satu Gustafson Men are more direct in what they want but we try to read into it and we make it complicated because we send indirect messages but men don’t. Like if a man is hot and cold, we try to figure out why, right? But clearly, it is obvious! He is not that into the girl. Some men cannot say how they feel... That is true. However, most times, I find men don’t want to say how they feel because they want to leave their options open.. Or they keep looking to “upgrade” or looking for attention... I agree with you that women seem more clear because we can express ourselves and like to talk about our feelings. The problem is that sometimes we have expectations, make assumptions and forget that women communicate differently from men. Anyways! Just wanted to share that! I could be wrong. lol 😆

JE ENN yes i did that! had the big "i want it ALL with you, or nothing" talk, he'll just reply with a vague answer, that doesn't really answer you, and keep you confused and holding on. my ex did this all the time! he was "so busy" with work and sport, never had time to fit me in, only at his convenience. we never did anything with other friends or family, just spent time alone at my house together.. he was basically just occasionally lonely and horny I guess. so glad I finally saw the light! doesn't stop me missing him, but I'm glad I can see his true colors now.. good luck!

tccole Gosh im sad to hear it happened to you but glad you haf the inner strenght to remove yourself from this harmful situation! in my letter I won't let him be bag. I have already spelled it in such way that he will have to decide: if he is serious /adult about exploring if we could have a relationship he is going to start to show it and take the lead. otherwise I'm off booking other dates this Easter and wish him well" I wrote more but it's another language and I'm on phone so it's too long to translate but I feel chances he will get better are slim. I'm afraid he might tell me something like "I miss u too ofcourae we can meet :-*" but not really mean with.. well I'll have to see. I feel I've done my best. only met him twice but we spoke on phone 60hours in 1.5 months so I thought we had something we could build on but feel he isn't serious just horny and lonely at times but now I think he met some other girl cause he is extremely vague about his whereabouts and not calling back. telling me he misses me back etc.. just short responses.. he is asking me "how is things with you?" but it feels automatic. no effort.. blah

You described my ex preciously, Mat. (7/7) The fifth, the sixth and the seventh points were the most painful for me. It was very difficult to recover from it. Conclusion for me: do not deal with emotionally injured men. They will never be healed. And they will never feel regret to offend you. Just because they got this from life. :-(

Anyway a guy will treat you the way you allow him to treat you. Too many girls make themselves easily available, don't require anything and will date him in infinitum without requiring any commitment or exclusivity.

I've dated guys recently that showed all those signs. When I'm not into a guy, I'm not fully present. I don't flirt, give short text responses. Sometimes go the hot and cold route.

The distraction thing was the first thing a friend of mine noticed before she figured out her husband was cheating. It was probably 6 months before when they went on a trip together. She said it was like he was physically with her but his mind was elsewhere like on the phone texting, etc. She felt like it was a pity trip.

Great video. I finally ended it with him last week after 6 years of leading me on. He made many promises that he never kept and would call me evryday but when it comes to taking me out or spending time together, he's always hesitant and I'm the one who was putting the effort. It feel a relief now altho I miss him. I wonder if these men ever regret what they did to us?

But I'm gonna let him know I actually care.

Yes I learnt my lesson it’s exactly that the first time I like somebody. He liked to talk about himself his ideals and so on. It was that validation seeking he wanted. Now when I met another guy, I realize that difference. He always want to know what I’m experiencing and explore the topic with me.

I must remember to watch this every time he contacts me.

7 yrs with this man I adored. Pretending there's someone must be! Records voices of a woman talking to him? No wireless ladies. Sad but true. Modern technology has bitten me more than once!! I'm bailing As much as it hurts I will be thankful in the end.

Love it!!! Thank you so much for this. The only thing I don't understand, is, even before I make the choice to leave; I talk to the guy about what's going on and how I feel. Why do they get upset when I actually let them go? I am a straight forward type and if I am not feeling it, I let a guy know what the problem is straight on. I don't like beating around the bush at all. If he is not willing to talk about it and work things out I feel he is not taking me or the relationship seriously and I don't continue to waste my nor his time. I feel like it should be vice versa, if a guy has a problem or anything with me, come to me and tell me so we can work it out. I have no problem with speaking my mind and if I am uninterested, I will let him know.

Hi

I dated somebody who was in between of 'I want a relationship' but sadly also 'I'm too insecure to have one because of last made bad experiences'. In the end, I got tired of this in between thing, he became the 'stagnent man' and I just felt stupid, kind of used. Investing into this relationship, making him feel good but I just felt terrible, like a tonn which lasted on my shoulders. I was really glad when I got rid of him. I'm sorry, but I need somebody who also wants clearly a relationship and who got over his doubts and giving me a free and clear new chance without any doubts of past relationships.
