7 Ridiculously Overpowered Electric Motorbikes w/ up to 12 Kilowatts of Output

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

How much power does an ebike need to have in order to switch from the 'bicycle' class to the 'motorbike' class? The latest advancements in the field of personal electric transportation blurred the lines between the classess of two-wheelers, as nowadays vehicles that look like regular bicycles can generate enough power to perform on par with some entry-level motorcycles and dirt bikes.
Many countries have already started using strict classifications for e-bicycles and this form of pedal-assisted transport usually generates up to 500 Watts and can either have an electrified pedal assist or throttle power. Every model that has an output greater than 500 Watts is usually classified as a motorcycle and is reserved for use in offroad conditions and private dirt trails.
What if we tell you that there is an emerging class of overpowered motorbikes that could serve a dual purpose? When you need to commute in the city and take regular bike lanes, you can limit the power output or just use electric power assist; but if you would like to use up to 12 kilowatts of power and travel at speeds up to 50 miles per hour, then just unlock the power limiter and enjoy these thrilling machines.
Besides being incredibly fast, these bikes are equipped on par with some enduro motorcycles - they have advanced suspension systems and smart electronics that will keep motor and battery temperatures in check, so you can enjoy long range riding and zippy acceleration capabilities.
If you are a fan of transportation gadgets that are powered by electricity, we suggest following our EV digests here: • Electric motorcycles, ...
Also take a look at our previous list, where we talk about 50 mph electric bikes: • Top 10 Electric 50-MPH...
In this video we talked about some of the most exciting two-wheelers that haven't been extensively covered by us previously. We tried to share as much information and technical details (pricing, top speed, available customizations, upgrade options for brakes, shocks, battery packs, etc.) about these inventions as possible.

I’ve had ebikes for about 25yrs. I currently have a Sondors XS and a SurRon. Also waiting for my Metacycle. Just got an email from Sondors assuring me that I’m set for delivery in June. They said the first batch was to be finished in April and delivered in June. I’m old and ebikes have given me a way to exercise and have fun. I’m also looking forward to Arcimoto’s Lean Mean Machine. A reverse trike W/ hub motors and a front end which leans when you corner. No gears or chain! When you pedal you’re charging the battery and power goes to the hub motors. GO EV’s!

Hey there, just watched your "Letric" video and I must say, I appreciate the content you're putting out! Keep up the great work. Speaking of electric bikes, I stumbled upon a new crowdfunding project called freebeat's Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike. It's pretty intriguing, especially with its indoor recharge feature. The way it combines indoor fitness and outdoor exploration is truly innovative. Plus, with its brushless 750W motor and impressive torque, this e-bike seems perfect for conquering any terrain. And don't even get me started on the Smart Saddle Detection+ feature, which adds a whole new level of fitness and technology. I'm definitely considering supporting this project!

The Enduro Ebike frame which they are all mostly using is from China and they are just rebranding them with their company name/logo. I bought one of these Enduro Ebike frames and build one myself, it’s 134v 20ah, 2680wh, 13,400w, 100a Bluetooth controller that has headlights, taillight, turn signals, horn, alarm, gps, led lit frame and wheels, everything on mine has been customized to the max, I call it the #HellbirdBanditBike 🔥🦅

I had one from both delfast and Enduro E-Bikes. I like the support Enduro E-Bikes had a lot more. (Makes sense since the name of the frame is kinda unqiue and original to them) Parts were easy to get through their live chat and always fit. I would have loved to build something but I had no idea how to do it.
