Poland is a superb country and I know I have not scratched the surface yet. Gdańsk and Sopot are both great and I found so many cafes and restaurants in Gdańsk around so many corners and again the cost is really great. Malbork Castle is just brilliant and as you say the WW2 museum in Gdańsk both took me hours to visit. Big shout for the people at Craft Beer Central hotel which is easily my place of choice to stay at.

We completely agree, Poland has so much to offer and there is still so much we have not seen! We have not been to Sopot yet, we also want to see Wroclaw and of course Warsaw! Thanks for watching, always nice to cross paths with other Poland enthusiasts! 😁

Hi Max and Sid! It's always heartwarming when you hear that someone from a different country loves your country :) I'm originally from Gdańsk and I live in Illinois at the moment. But funny thing... we have cabin in Wisconsin because rural Wisconsin reminds us rural Poland :) When you'll visit Warsaw please try to find time to take a walk at Kampinos National Park. You will feel like in the woods in Wisconsin ❤ Agnes

Wow, what an interesting connection to home! There is a lot of Polish roots in my family history, and I vividly remember my grandpa saying exactly what you just said! The countryside in Poland is so beautiful and truly reminded me of home. We have not been to Warsaw yet, but there is no doubt that we will have to return to Poland. We loved everything about it and there is so much more to see! Thank you for watching our video and sharing your story!

I'm from Wisconsin (with Polish ancestry) and have always heard the same thing! What's more, a lot of Polish food doesn't actually even seem foreign to me. We are so used to it here that it just feels like... food. It's just the way our mothers and grandmother's cook, so it feels like home.

What an absolutely lovely video, told beautifully and from the heart. I too am a huge fan of Poland. I love the country. Have you been to Łódź yet? Please get in touch with me if you are planning to visit Łódź. It is, in my opinion, Poland's most under-rated major city. I call it a "cauldron"....a real rollercoaster of incredible history - spectacular, dramatic and traumatic (and, as a major city, all condensed into 200 years), and completely different from all the other major Polish cities. Its architecture is fantastic and it has a feel of a city that is waiting to be discovered by the rest of the world. Łódź citizens already know that their city needs better attention!
