    You are so wrong. People respond with their own energy. You can be very healthy and draw out vultures (aka Narcissists). I study them and you need to correct what you’re telling women. You are victim blaming. You can be a beautiful, shiny diamond and draw very toxic people. What’s important is if you have the self-esteem and no the tools to keep people like that out of your life. Follow Dr Darren McGhee she knows all about it.

    1. Know your value before you get out there. Never doubt yourself. 2. Look like you take yourself and your worth seriously. You need to act like a king to be treated like one. 3. Don’t give easy access to yourself. Access to your energy should be expensive. 4. Don’t express your boundaries. Show them. 5. Always be ready to walk away 6. Show that you are focused on actions not words. 7. Have a healthy degree of skepticism. You’re not naive and you’re not negative. 8. You must be willing to say no and be willing to losing the man. 9. Never chase a man! A truly worthy person does not chase a man pulling away.

    When I got married, I was really afraid of losing my husband. He cheated in secret. He watched sex videos. He sext with gays. And sex with women too. That means he is double bleed. Guess what we ended one time, I gave second chance but life with him was so difficult. He cheated again, watched sex videos again, had a gay relationship again, chatted his ex gf. So stupid. This time I walk away and will never return. I'm fed up. I don't chase men either. If they leave, so goodbye. Have a nice day. If they don't text or chat, okay goodbye too. I'm tired of chasing pretty rainbows just to let them stay. Better walk away and never return. Thanks for the video

    As a 64 year-old woman, I can tell you the concepts in this presentation are true and accurate. I sold myself short all the time to “win” substandard and damaged men. It was always a win for them, but it was never good for me. When I learned these concepts in my 50’s, I found a high value man to whom I am still married. This is the happiest I have ever been. I not only use these standards of behavior for him, but for employers, friends, and in business. If you don’t measure up in your treatment of me, you’re fired from my close circle. I will continue to treat you with respect and kindness, but you no longer have the best of me.

    Excellent video! Men ALWAYS try to push your boundaries to see how much they can get away with. Best thing I ever do is withdraw the moment a guy tries to push my boundaries. If he then tries to act like nothing happened, I walk away without explanation. Men know what they are doing, they are not dumb, naive, they know ehat they are doing and they're hoping to get away with it. Nope. If he checks your temperature, burn him with absence. My Dad always told me this. He always said, men can control themselves, men can respect people regardless of who they are and men are actually more self aware then we realize and to never give them grace for disrespect, testing boundaries or playing dumb. He needs to revere you. So having no trouble walking away with zero F's given is powerful. Thank you lovely! Happy new year! 🎉❤

    Men are easy tbh. What we look for: youth, health and a pleasant personality. Men will run from a woman who causes drama, nags and is needy / insecure, but also if she is physically unhealthy, unattractive or too old for kids. Its not complicated. What never crosses a man's mind when looking for a woman: how educated she is, her social status, how much money she makes, her achievements. She could be dumpster diving and poor, a man will still find her attractive.

    @ sgf1495 Looking for a woman based on if she’s attractive typically doesn’t end well for a man. Attractive women are opportunistic as they should be and I say this as a woman with very pretty friends . Beauty fades so that’s not a good measure in finding a partner

  • @Brakka86

    @Brakka86

    6 ай бұрын

    @@MB-xv7er As long as she is at least slightly below average or average in looks and she has a pleasant personality its all good. A woman does not need to look very attractive for a man to be interested in her. As I said men subconsciously look for youth & physical as well as mental health. Everything else is optional / not really necessary. We don't have complicated thought patterns or standards when it comes to this to be honest. There are no lists, no secret that can be cracked. Its simple: young, fit and mentally healthy. Women don't seem to believe it tho. The pleasant personality part ensures she will be a pleasant partner long term. Its why most men avoid women who complain, nag and are difficult all the time. Old women aren't fertile, so men tend to not find them sexually attractive sry to say. Friendship is possible tho.

    @joyfuladventures7036 What if this guy was a friend since 10years ago when we were in our very early 20s. He once told me he was interested but we never had the chance to date because of distance we were not at the same place. But we’ve always been friends for so long chatting n texting and sharing personal loses and academic work. We share used to share our failed relationships sometimes. Then recently we met in person and we got physical and intimate, for about 2 weeks we stayed together, we shared and used everything together and I came to like him romantically. But when he left he didn’t tell me he was interested he was getting in touch often but he didn’t tell me what he wants. I gave him space, he came to town after sometime and said he wanted to hang out with me for a while again. Then later when he left i asked him what’s between us but he gave me excuses like he’s not ready and planning certain things for his life etc. My question is we’ve been friends all these many years why isn’t he interested now in a relationship after we got intimate. His communication has reduced after I asked him what he wanted from what went on between the two of us. So I just giving him space. Also do I just remain friends with him or cut off that long time friendship I had with him completely and not even send him a birthday text on his birthday.

Yes we women have accepted bad behavior from our past relationships because we didn't know better back then, but now know that telling a man how badly other men treated you in your past will tell other men in your future that you will tolerate bad behavior. Also tell men that you're last relationships the men treated you well and you broke up mutually. He doesn't need to know details about the breakup. Ending your past relationships when your partner was pushing your boundaries means your where not accepting that and shows your high standards and value. So, in my opinion, it is not neccessary to lie about such breakups. Or lie at all about any kind of breakups. Better just say the general details, not going super deep into it at first. A good man will respect that and not ask too many questions. Relationships are built on trust and understanding. I cannot imagine myself having to remember BS I made up to fit a man's interest in me and then later having to explain why I lied, showing I could have lied about other things as well and that I am not a trustworthy person, no.

    As a man, I know I'm not the target audience for this video but as I listened it dawned upon me that if you replace the word "woman" with "man" - and vice-versa - in each of your points you get advice that is equally good for a man approaching a prospective woman. It's not always true that what is good for the goose is also good for the gander but when it comes to boundries and self-worth, these values are universal. Just say'n ....

    I noticed these help tools work like that for me and my bf. He’s a manly man, I’m feminine in most ways. Just a lot of these tips for men to handle woman work best for me managing my bf and our relationship. We each grew up in our own households. It’s really interesting. The gender isn’t specific to how someone will be. Everyone is different. Sometimes you have to mash up the advice of a man woman and a woman to man because not everyone was raised to be the typical man or woman.

  • @bradsalz4084

    @bradsalz4084

    @@amberg4131 I was just pointing out that the advice Black Swan offered for a woman to communicate her value to a man will work equally well for a man to communicate his value to a woman in a courtship setting. That's not the same thing as saying the qualities a man values in a woman are the same as the qualities a woman values in a man. Of course they are different because men and women are different. I'm just pointing out that the advice given in the video is agnostic to sex. The goal is the same: to convince someone of the opposite sex that you have the qualities of a desireable mate. So, your bf will try to communicate his "manly man" qualities that he thinks you desire while you will try to convince him that you have the feminine qualities he desires. From your description it looks like you both accomplished that - which is good for both of you.

    To be honest, when a man treats me any less than what I deserve, I think it’s their problem, not mine. Because some treat me so well, while some don’t. It is because your actions are the reflection of yourself or what you think of yourself. So if someone treats you badly, it actually means they don’t respect themselves first. Because good men and women will still treat you with respect even if they don’t like you or have anything to gain from you if they respect themselves first. Someone’s behaviour is never about us. Even in a very toxic situation a person can keep their cool and exit it when they get the access. But a less headstrong person will get ruffled in trivialest of stuffs.

Them having that frame of mind is a reflection of themselves and the fact they want good things for free in life- these people will go for the cheaper options their whole life. It is then your choice to look at their behaviour toward you because EVERYONE tells on themselves by what they say or do and you can work out their intentions, then it’s your choice to walk. eventually I’m hoping women raise their value so these types of men don’t use them anymore!

And you can't expect things would change entirely unless you go for the root cause: Patriarchy. Our society is patriarchal one more or less. Women have been suppressed since generations. Many women still fake an orgasm, for instance, just to avoid confrontation or break the "peace" in the house, because it's less womanly (apparently) to raise her voice. It’s true that women don’t know their worth, but make no mistake, that men don’t know what their worth either, or even what worth is. Ask a man what his worth is and he’ll start talking about leading and his wallet. Which implies that money is his worth and he’s looking for a woman who abandons herself and all of life to follow a man’s commands. And ask him what a woman’s worth is and he’ll start talking about supporting him, putting out and cooking and cleaning. How much she abandons herself to build up a man. NONE OF WHICH IS WORTH of himself or women. So, since most people don’t know what their worth is, here’s what I do.. I don’t concern myself with worth and just protect myself and my happiness and peace of mind. I stay out of trouble and don’t bother anyone. And in my lifetime, I noticed that men are most responsive to a challenge and authority. To women with strong standards and courage to put their foot down. Women who are not looking for a man to lead. Women who are easy to get, too nice, and aims to please are the ones men take for granted and don’t treat right. Although these are qualities we hear men say American women don’t have anymore and why they are getting passports, they mistreat women like that whenever they get one. And those foreign women are definitely not easy. Why would they be? If they don’t want the messed up fellas in their country, why ever would they want messed up foreigners? So ladies, don’t be so quick to let a man have your body. Don’t be so quick to offer him food or any kind of help. Don’t be so quick to go on a date with him. Don’t believe anything he tells you until you see evidence of it. And continue being a good human being. If he is deterred or dismayed by this, that’s a clear sign that he’s not ready to be with a woman and your worth is nothing to him but a supply to be used.

    In the past I felt that I was not valued, important or loved and that I was not appreciated. One time I did things from the heart for a person and I was kind to him and helped everytime he needed something. I came to realize that this person did not even give a cup with water and I said aloud God, how come I can do things from the heart for someone, do good things for someone and a person does not even give me a cup with water. I am mad, I am sad. After that prayer a voice told me " Tú tienes tu valor" You have your value. From that day I do not feel like I used to feel before because today I know that I have my value and I do not have to wait for anyone to give it to me. Thank you God.

    High value is a short cut for saying that you will not allow yourself to fall into a codependent relationship. I just left two and found it to be super painful. There are things you just can’t let slide. It’s easier to stop a codependent relationship at the beginning than after decades of your life. This goes for any relationship - friend, boss, family. If you were raised raised in a codependent family, you are set up to have more in your life. You need to learn how these relationships work in order to avoid them.

    No sex at all because once you do it your value will decrease. Let him know your standards. If he doesn’t want to wait for marriage. Leave him. As long as you don’t sleep with him, you will not get used and you’re heartbroken. You won’t have to worry about an STD or pregnancy or getting played. Be smart and keep your legs closed. If he values you, he will marry you. It may seem old fashioned but it works. Tell him you are a Christian and want to wait till marriage. You don’t want him to take advantage of you. Get the ring and marriage a full commitment. Let him know you believe in marriage and family. Be wise. 😊

Be friends first- that way you are totally who you are, there are no pretenses, judgment nor expectations, you both just enjoy each other's company for the sake of enjoyment. You're not having sex, but you're truly seeing what each other is about. That's the purest way to get to know someone, without the uneeded power play. Just have fun!! It's that simple- connect with your mind, heart, and spirit. And then, if there is physical attraction, things will fall into place. *Friends first is the smartest approach - it's all about athenticity and both people being REAL , being present, in pure BLISS !

This kills magnetism, romantic polarity, and the far-reaching benefits of a super hot marriage that ages like a fine wine. Studies show that the divorce rate increases with premarital sex. Interestingly, when you wait till marriage, your capacity to be sexually compatible increases dramatically due to the deep level of devotion & trust that is felt when sex is preserved for marriage. Deep seated trust activates a healthy sexual drive and brings the very best out of one another. I've been married 18 years. We waited. We absolutely love our married life. It's truly a magical dance *when the proper foundation is laid*! 💃🕺 I wish you the very best love life. 💘

    Julia - good luck with this! Unless a man is deeply religious and true to those believes, there's generally no way a healthy man will wait a year or two with no sex involved, until you get married. While celibacy by choice is possible, it's not very likely - at least not in a young-ish man [say up to 40/45 ish]. Most men, if they are celibate, are due to not having access to a reliable sex partner, or being tired of relationships that don't work out. Actually - that would be a red flag for me - there are either potential sexual hang-ups/restrictions, sex drive compatibilities, weird fetishes he can't bring himself to discuss, any possible type of sexual deviations including sex addiction/pornography, closet bi/gay/DL that you are not aware off, never mind STI's he's hiding, potential Eds, or other sexual irks + quirks or just being bad in bed, AND assuming that none of the above applies - being a potential cheater.

    I’ve gone through a lot this past year and have lost the confidence that I used to carry so effortlessly in my younger years. This attracted the wrong kind of man to my life and the only toxic relationship I have ever known. I simply could not let him go. I believe it’s because I still need to do the inner work and find myself again. I cannot see that I can do better, nor feel that I deserve happiness. I make excuses and point the finger back at myself whenever he does/say something cruel or unfavorable. I have never known another man to utter some of the words he has spoken to me or about me. It’s been 2 years of on and off. We are currently “off”. I needed this video. What a happy accident. New subscriber and looking forward to exploring your channel further.

    When a man really wants you and wants to spend his whole life with you, it doesn't matter if you invite him to your house on the first few dates. I know my husband is one of the exceptions, but I invited him early in our relationship. And now we are married. But most men may simply take advantage of the situation and not move forward with the relationship. There are exceptions, and they are few, and that is why they are exceptions.

I've been really feeling that desire and getting curious with it more and knew there is something else more important to stand with before even entertaining that and my VALUE and WORTH are two things I really need to dive more into - if anyone has any advice or meditations or videos - I am open to that!

By telling him to "prove it," to put action behind his words, he understands that words aren't going to be enough to hold and keep your attention; he'll have to show you how he feels through his actions. Each time I come across these videos I attempt to listen then analyze what definitely is applicable to me and where there’s need for improvement and even further-what I object to but in the same breath what I’d alter or how I’d phrase! This I consider quite objective as I can not simply concur but with a form of disagreement I can also state my input. Value and Worth are essential attributes to have and to hold-it’s rather sad that many of us never sought to contemplate but perhaps even more profound is that we never were taught nor introduced to such! Much gratitude to my adopted grandmother who instilled and inspired-that now I’m well groomed and much disliked for what I will hasten to say are endeavouring qualities! Continue to inspire and motivate as I likewise continue to do same with influence amongst those with whom I associate who have an ear to hear!

    I began listening to this because it seems very interesting, it really is!! However firstly I must succeed in finding a normal man 😂😂😂 That's a big big challenge. Even younger, I was beautiful, and had many qualities. I was admired etc but never found a man worthy of my Worth!! Today I'm less younger but still look pretty etc, but most of my life has shifted into Virtual. I love walking through the Forrest, nature or being at home, visiting my family, grandchildren. I never liked going out in the evening, cuz Alone. But even r Then at home I can cook something nice, etc etc.. I used to be put down a lot (parents, husband, etc) then I suddenly got angry, it was the last drop and I suddenly learned to love myself. Not just admire my pretty face in the mirror. With that came setting boundaries, and knowing my worth. Loving oneself changes absolutely everything.

    Number 1 is so 🔑! Last summer I was hanging out with women who would shame me for not using dating apps or putting myself out there. I tried my best to explain that I have trauma I need to heal and that needs to come first. Until I actually stopped seeing them as friends, I still felt guilty and like there was something wrong with me. Now that it’s been months, I realize how right I was not to date just to have something to talk about with my “friends”. But it’s very hard in this society to come to this realization, especially when friends and family are always pressuring you.

    Lots of women (and some men) have been conditioned to be love addicted. Highly recommended, 12 step program, SLAA, sex and love addicts anonymous starting from an early age. They also have rehab for this problem. Once self esteem is restored , people can begin setting boundaries. No advice can be applied where self esteem doesn’t exist. No one is owed anything except from their parents who usually fall short. This creates childhood trauma that sets us up for addictions, which are lifelong and need to be managed through the life span. As with all diseases, early detection and treatment are critical.

    I have been with my husband for nearly 13yrs (since I was 18). I had very little self worth and at the age of 30 I’m only just building myself properly. Luckily my husband has never treated me badly but there has been times in the past where I wouldn’t have let certain behaviours happen without speaking up and placing boundaries. I hope we can both grow together as we find ourselves. I think the process has been a bit delayed due to starting a family young as well. I look back and I’m like…. I had no idea who I was. I’m excited as I step into who I am.x
