I like a guy from my ASL class and I started texting him recently and he said at first "I wanted to message you first but had no idea what to say so I'm glad you messaged me first!" And in class, ever since a few months ago, we've just automatically picked eachother for partners in class...

my guy before my confession barely hit any of the signs xD but after it, he's tried his best to spend time with me, be it our gaming dates before the pandemic, or the random hour long calls recently.. he's also caught my attention everytime he passes by our classroom before he graduated.. he also looks me in the eye and tells me how cute i am.. he tells me how I'm literally the best person he's ever met.. and when he can, he slips an i love you if I didn't tell him, he might've been gone now.. but everything's working out so far, even with the bumps along the way

We always hang out in school and he always teases me, I have eating problems, and yesterday he was trying to help me eat, in his own way, (he's not really emotionally understanding ig) and I thought it was nice And I keep watching these videos, and I still ask myself if he likes me, and one of the biggest things I saw in most of them, is "they make excuses to touch you", and ik I do it too, when we play and tease each other, he sometimes playfully pushes my hand away, or swats at it, he takes my things away or chases me, and I always try to grab it, but it's like we always make excuses to touch each other (not in a weird way lol) And then earlier today I was drawing, I felt kinda bad because I thought my drawings were gross, and he told me that "it's better than I could ever do", and he started drawing on the whiteboard and I think it was to make me feel a little better But even with all these signs, I feel like he still doesn't like me, because I'm overweight, I'm weird, and I'm not pretty, and I just can't believe anyone would like me yk? Story time. There's this guy I think likes me but I'm not sure, he's my older brothers friend so I at least have spoken to him before I started noticing. So it all started about a month ago (really storytime here xD) when me and my brother went on a camp, it happens every year and this was my first time going but because covid we couldn't stay the nights there like what usually happens so we were driving there and back everyday. At the camp they had a 'warm and fuzzy wall' where everyone at the camp had a pocket that people could put anonymous or signed notes in and on the last day I got one. I'm like 95% sure it's from this guy because my brother got one from him (100% sure because my brother knows his handwriting) and I compared the handwriting (sneaky I know xD). The note said 'Knock knock. Whos there? When and where? When and where who? When: tonight Where: maccas Who: me and you. Me, my brother, this guy and a few other friends had gone to maccas for breakfast but I dunno if that means anything. Throughout the camp I didn't really notice him much because he was with his friends and I was with mine, but I was still noticing some things he did. I would catch him looking at me loads (and I mean loads, even more than my friends or brother). From across the room, while he was hanging out with his friends, while he was playing spikeball (look it up), and a few times he would hold my gaze for a second or two. When him and my brother won spikeball I couldn't be sure because I wasn't directly watching, but he yelled 'We won!' and obviously I looked over, and I'm pretty sure I was the first one he looked at. Then the camp was over :( and we were driving home with me, my friend and crush's friend in the three back seats and him and my brother up the front, and of course we were singing disney songs at the top of our lungs (cos who wouldn't. keep in mind we're all 15-18 so older teenagers singing along to frozen, tangled, and moana songs). Then when we dropped him off he looked back at me and kept my gaze until he went inside (this has happened twice now when we've taken him home). Then guess what. He reached out to me on Instagram the day after the camp finished (we were already following each other because mutual friends through my brother) and we've at least made contact every day for a little over three weeks. He mostly initiates conversation but I have sometimes, we send each other memes, random pictures, quotes, stuff like that, sometimes we've stayed up quite late texting (not flat out texting, but maybe a minute or two between texts). He will tell me things like what time he's working, and when he gets up really early he's a few times said stuff like 'I dont feel wide awake right now' or 'its cold' just random things he doesn't have to tell me but does. We tease each other, banter, inside jokes, and occasionally he's brought up things I've said that I've completely forgotten I said to tease me about. Like once at the camp he and a bunch of guys were playing basketball and on the car ride home I was saying (jokingly) it looked scary. Then about a week later he brings it up again when he says 'I'm going to play basketball. Or should I say scary basketball' and to took me a second to remember that I'd said that. Theres more that I dont know how to say because obviously I cant write down every single little time Ive noticed something, but after writing this I'm pretty sure he likes me, and I like him. And when I asked my brother if he likes me after the camp was over he said 'its not my place to say, and dont go asking him about it' which makes me think maybe (very big maybe) he's told my brother. But the second part of what my brother said sounds like he either isn't ready to tell me or doesn't want to, which I'm fine with. I'm happy to just be friends first and see what happens in a year or two because if we do both like each other and say it I know I'm definitely not ready for a relationship. Yeah anyway, if you read this well done and you deserve a medal(ion) ;). I hope you understood this mess of text and thoughts.

So…. Like this

1. I do find him facing me directly in conversation, and mirrors me a lot (if I adjust my glasses, so does he, etc.) But sometimes he seems distracted or nervous, too. 2. He often flags me down - almost every time I see him in the hallways. He talks louder and wants me to hear his jokes when others are around. 3. He teases me CONSTANTLY. Sometimes so much I get a little offended and am wondering if he's mean? He does tell me he's joking and tells me to punch him if I want...lol 4. I have gotten compliments from him - not a lot about my looks, but one day I wore a new outfit and he said I looked really nice today ....then came back and said "not that you don't look nice everyday". Haha. But he's constantly telling me how awesome I am and that I'm Super Woman. So much so that I wonder if it's phony? 5. He finds excuses to be around me a lot...but...some of it is because we are working on the same projects a lot. But he's always coming to my office (yes, work related), he's walking through the lunch room to rib me while I'm at lunch, he will always stop me when he sees me. 6. He remembers all the stories I tell him - some are over a year old and they still come back in conversation with him. I'm frankly amazed. 7. He was visiting me and said, well you don't want me to stay and chit chat so I'm gonna head out. I said, "that's you, not me....I like you" He came back in from the doorway and said "I like you too" and then left. I'm still not sure!!! The definition of "like" is too vague here.

1. He constantly is looking at me from across the classroom (Ive caught him a minimum of 5 times looking at me, I once looked over at him when he was staring and he looked away, and one time he didnt and just smiled) 2. He constantly leans in and stands super close and usually crosses his arms (idk if this is a bad sign or good sign) 3. He teases me all the time! 4. Not sure if this is one but he constantly is around me, there isnt a minute where were not apart unless its during lesson 5. And he looked kind of sad when i told him so i told my friends how he looked, they went and told him something i still dont know what it is but all i know is that they asked how old he is and what his name was and i was emberassed and they called me over to talk to him and i was talking to him of course and it felt amazing we where not talking about much stuff but the problem is me and my bff likes him now and i feel like she wants to guilt trap me into stop liking him because she said i never tried to take youre crush while shes acting like i took her crush and the thing is she been asking someone who likes her to date her and rabdomly change like this is gonna be her second time breaking his heart and hes my cousin si it makes it worse like they used to date but my bff lets call her R broke up with my cousin lets call him E. So when R broke up with E she was miserable saying how she wants him back and after two months or so of theyre breakup we find out E still likes R and R still likes E So we where talking alot and E said hes not ready to date R again because you know she broke his heart but we (more like me) was trying everything to fix theyre relationship and he started wanting to say yes alot more soooo then all of this happend and i dont want to break E heart again since he looks and acts alot better now and i gave up me liking that guy for R and keep in mind we both liked some guys but my story is different we just feel like friends because every time im with him and is actually talking to him it feels lile we where never meant to be but when i was talking to this new guy i felt a spark i have never felt before with my past crushes. And i wanted to ask for help and for who is in the wrong here, feel free to ask me questions and thank you for reading all of this if you did.

What does it mean if he do the same things as you do even tho he didn’t do them before and he don’t do them when you aren’t doing them? like for example table tennis or basketball What does it mean when he always sees that I got a new pair of shoes or if I did something different whit my hair?
