Ambient sounds + adding quality samples really do make a big difference in the quality of tracks!

On the mono tip, in ableton you just add "utility" to the track and the use the mono to stereo knob as the envelope.
thanks for giving me the motivation to make music again bro. the writer's block doesn't exist fact is real.
I LOVE that you go straight to the idea of the video, not some stuff like "I'm gonna share it with you guys! Cause what? I'm gonna share it! Don't go away, cause you won't be turning back to old production stuff when you know what I wanna share with you!" A bit exaggerated, but I see many of that "intro hooks" and got so tired of them😥 U Got a new patron buddy 💜💜
Dude. You’re out here changing lives. I just hope you know that. I absolutely am subscribing bc this type of content was the thing I didn’t know I needed so much.
Be careful with that writers block advice. It's not about not wanting to do something. It's quite the opposite. It's wanting it really bad, sinking hours and hours into it yet having a shitty product at the end. Consider yourself lucky if that doesn't happen to you. :) Other than that, another awesome video mate.

I definitely agree. But there will be times when your limbic system takes over and you just don't feel like making music, which people call "writer's block". You probably know this already as there isn't a single human who can avoid this haha. Acknowledging that, yet still trying and making music is like a superpower and extremely fulfilling.

Everybody wants it really bad, sinks hours and has something they don't like at first. Trust me, he's probably experienced exactly what you've described as well. All artists have. The key is to show up every day and still make music regardless. You're not gonna make all bangers at first. It's gonna take time to get there, but you'll get there a lot faster if you show up and work at it every single day, whether you love what you're making that day or not. Sink hours into a bad song and be proud that you did, because that's the only way to improve. GL, you got this.

@@Akayo_Music so you suggest making new music everyday?
Dang this video should have CRAZY views what the heck
I found your channel the other day and felt what a talanted, genuine and rare gift you got and share! being so young yet so humble, wise and experienced already I can't imagine you not becoming a name among the goats some day! it was a bit funny in another video when you said "a long time ago, around 4 years ago" like oh yeah, he's not this middle age producer with over 30 years in the industry where 4 years is like a bathroom break or something 🤭 I will be watching everything from you man ❤️❤️
1 minute in and I'm going straight into that Ghost Effect right now 🫡
These are all things I have figured out during my 2+ years of producing and I can say that they are in fact VERY good tips. Listening to and, most importantly, producing music are the key factors to developing a musical mind and ear. Don't stress out about making music. Just produce, listen and dont be shy to try new things and it will eventually come to you.
The deal you made with us at the beginning of the video is the best thing I've ever heard in a tutorial
Tip 7 and after really hit hard. Thank you so much!
Man I totally forget about the subtle mono trick ! I gotta go back into some of my mixes on my page and see how it changes the drop hit ! Thanks for that! 🎉
big w for you brother, this vid actually helped
Done! Experiemented with two. Thanks for the cool mission/agreement in the beginning.

Don’t sleep on that last bit: Choose what you want the audience to feel/hear
Just randomly found this video and I already love your videos! You just got a new sub, keep up the good work bro :))
thank you so much for sharing these tips! Very helpful!!! 😍
Now these are some high quality tips. Thanks!
Thanks for all your tips and advice bro, it helps more than you know. I have a suggestion, that maybe you want to turn into a video possibly, what advice do you have for a producer who does not want to stick to 1 genre, but still get some recognition? I've heard so many times in the past that it's best to stick to one type of genre to get an audience that is committed, but I like too many styles to be able to stick to one genre. I for one, like you made an alias a few years back that was gaining traction exclusively with techno, but after a while it felt like I was being suffocated creatively, by having to stick to that one genre. Thanks for all that you do! Keep it up! CHeers.
Thanks, this is great advice, and the intro/outro of the video are really impactful. I'm sure you're gonna go far with this channel.
This video hits hard. It’s absolutely gem of knowledge.
