Thank you so much for this much needed content. Practical and wise.
Thanks Marcus. I always learn at least one thing from your vids, even if I use it for a different purpose. Going to add the lateral arm raise in with the side planks that are part of my squat warmup
Thank you Marcus for the Video!! This is excellent information and training tips!!
Great tips to use either for your self or the people you train. Thank you for giving out all this content

Thank you for the workout tips and educational videos. I learn more from you than watching other famous fitness KZreadrs and I changed my style of workout because of your videos.
thanks for being so honest but not negative. l am also a coach but i like to see your perspective from time to time and it gives me always a nice addition to my coaching and training.
Really insightful video, not a CrossFitter but going to take the info on shoulder flexibility and build it into my rugby coaching exercises. Thanks.
Great!! Thnaks for the excercises.
Thinking now most 'overuse' is truly under-balance. Your channel is the sauce. Great gravy. Mucho appreciado! 🙏
Thanks a mill for all the information. It's brilliant
You Sir are great! Thanks for these videos.
Solid explanations. I can def understand how these would hit on common overlooked ranges in CF. Love your depth of knowledge and the ability to creatively come up with new drills! The beauty of knowing your craft deeply and applying yourself over the years 🙌🏻
Wicked effective content explaining the why, what activities each movement helps, and details on how to do this right and what to think about for success. Great delivery! First time seeing your work and subscribed. Adding a note on whether to do these movements all on the same day each week, or do a few each day through the week (I think better especially when paired with like exercises done that day) would be helpful for folks. Thank you for this gift.
that's awesome keep the great work very inspirational Marcus ! thank you

This video is crazy good. You could easily say "do more strict pulling, strict pressing, and core work" but instead show us truly unique and almost revolutionary movements. You're really the MVP Marcus!

I just found this channel and I’m glad. I’m a 52 year old masters athlete ( was until I was dropped by training think tank all my fault) but this gives me hope to get back into it and stop giving up on the sport that I love. Thank you so much.

Great selection of exercises and even better explanation for them! Appreciate you Marcus. I would like to hear your thoughts about master athlete training volume (Myself and most of our gym is 35+ in age).
Really enjoyed this video. Anything with bulletproofing knees, back and especially shoulder is awesome. Want to add more accessory work into my workouts as I found out the hard way how not doing it can cause injury and longer return to full fitness.

terrific. I hope we can support you with FBB
Amazing information again. I need to start incorporating these movements into my sessions. Pulled my lower back recently and I’m sure it’s because I barely work on any lateral stability and am weak there. I couldn’t understand it as I do plenty of RDLs and thought my back was strong but obviously not!! Thank you!

It is the simple truth
Great video Marcus, thx. Could you respond with similar exercises for us 65+ competitors for next years games.
Awesome exercises, thanks!! Only thing I’d do different is add a yoga block or something under the side plank arm to enable a stretch on the powell raise. But it’s a great idea to incorporate lateral stability into that

I like doing 5/3/1 with KB metcon on the off days and or light days hehe thats my version of crosstraning hehe and boxing with a doble ended bag
Great piece on accessory training to support the CrossFit workouts. However no repetition/ sets were indicated…. What’s the suggested prescription for the Seven extra work exercises? Thank you
Great explanation Marcus, You talk the 7 moves through well. I am gearing the 7 moves after my sessions , or even as an evening sesh. My coach also thinks i need to improve on my body positioning - He feels that i’lll get an extra 10-15 kg’s in my cleans and snatches (PB clean and jerk is 80 and snatch 58). Do you have any you tube videos on body positioning?
@marcusfilly

Not yet. But I'll keep it in mind
Marcus, if you don't have access to an incline bench, could you perform kb prone rows from your feet with a hinge at the hip (ie. bent over row) and get the same intended stimulus?
hi Marcus great information ty! one question what the name of the thing that you stand on in the front squat section?? the triangle thing i want to buy it .

What is the name of the incline board you’re using for the Cyclist Front Squat?
Hey my question is what exercises in crossfit are good for core strength and muscles.
im just writing to please the youtube-engine so you might get your info out to more ppl :) i dont do crossfit and i already do sideplank variations to protect the lower back copenhagen plank is awesome (along with cat/cow and bird/dog). But i bet crossfitters would gain a lot from watching this :) ...crazy sport :D

How many series and repetitions do you recommend for each exercise?
is there an alternative to the rawer exercise?. I can't have it in my apartment and even if there is a free rawer in the box everyone will look at me...
What would be the rep range for each workout ?
I really like CrossFit Brian Ortega.
