7 MORE NFL Players Who Blew Their Chance At Stardom...

Спорт

Well, here we are again with part 2 of those random NFL players that over time became forgotten in NFL history. So these are the biggest NFL busts that ever played, and blew their chance at stardom in the NFL. Anyway, if you enjoyed this video, then like and comment if you want, and you can even subscribe if you think I've earned it.
Barry McCockiner has been covering the NFL news regarding Derek Carr and the resulting downfall of Tom Brady. This super bowl was full of NFL highlights produced by Patrick Mahomes and of course, people like urinatingtree and KTO covered the game.

I wouldn't say Pryor blew anything. He was always a fringe prospect at QB, so actually getting starts was an accomplishment. The successful switch to WR was impressive and although he had injury issues, he made the most of his NFL opportunities and in fact, created one for himself once it was clear he wasn't going to be a QB.

To be fair with the Kelvin Benjamin thing, people were accusing him of getting fat as early as 2016. He came into training camp looking very out of shape, which kind of makes sense given that he missed the 2015 season. However, he never really got back into shape after that either.

Josh Gordon's story is heartbreaking. While ALL these stories leave you wondering "what if," Josh's story is the one I'm most familiar with. I remember, one time, Cris Carter -- who battled substance abuse issues of his own -- giving a passionate speech (I forget which show this was on), to the point of being on the verge of tears. The speech was directed at Josh, obviously, but also to people in general. Cris spoke about substance abuse, about the importance for one to admit he needs help, about rising above one's demons, and said something to the effect of, "the demon of substance abuse is kinda like cancer. It never truly goes away. Even when it's in remission, it's still there. You have to continually manage it, master it, and subjugate it... every day." Cris's message was powerful, because he wasn't just another "talking head" on TV -- Cris himself had lived it, he himself had been down in the ravine, fought his way back, and found a way to thrive. It is such a shame Josh couldn't -- or wouldn't -- seek the help he needed.

Josh Gordon was a good player with a lot of potential but he never should have been given as many chances as he got and Randy Gregory shouldn't have gotten as many chances either. The NFL should implement a 3 strike policy. 3 strikes and then an indefinite suspension or ban
