#7 Miss State vs Virginia (AMAZING GAME!) | College World Series | 2021 College Baseball Highlights

Mississippi State and Virginia played in the winners bracket of the 2021 College World Series. The winner would get a few days off, needing only 1 win (in 2 potential attempts) to advance to the CWS Finals. The loser would play Texas in an elimination game, needing 3 consecutive wins to advance to the CWS Finals.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I started making them with team logos on the left, and a game snapshot on the right, and I’ve gotten almost all of my video views with that style.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

@@flank22fn45 Wearing a tight helmet will mess up his conditioned hair, no way he is willing to risk that! This will effect the bounce of his hair, let alone the humidity build up! Sheesh!

Seriously like what are the coaches doing on virginia? Their kids are undisciplined with all the chest pounding and shananagans and they’re wasting valuable time in their first few steps adjusting their damn helmets. Meanwhile they’re working all off-season on shaving tenths of a second off their forty times🙄

They have had some great MSU teams come up short. This maybe the year they win it. One things for sure, Mississippi state games are close and fun the watch. I am.not a Bulldog but I and love watching their baseball team

Texas is way deeper in depth than Virginia. This was shown in the 8th when our Dawgs pulled it off! I hope Texas wins and we send them packing!

This one stung as a UVA fan but it was a great game. The kind of game a championship team wins. MSU may finally breakthrough this year. Would certainly rather see them win than Texas, Vanderbilt or NC state

I don’t believe Virginia was the better team. Christian was clearly off and has been the entire post season. (Must be nerves getting to him in big games and they better be careful about that going forward) Put regular season Christian in there or start Hootie and it likely would’ve been 0-0 going into the 8th.

At 9 19 I feel like the catcher didn’t just wiff the pitcher threw the wrong pitch no catcher of that skill level whiffs on a pitch they know is coming

Great execution of fundamental baseball by Virginia, and lights out pitching by the starter. In my opinion, simply better talent from the SEC won.
i didn't watch it live, but they went to the BP a little too early i think. that kid pitched a great game, walked a kid and then a HR. but still. the BP lost it for VIrginia

The CWS is all about bull pen from here on out. State has the best bull pen by far with Vandy second. Hopefully Vandy and NC State use all there arms up and help us out in the end.

You have to catch a foul tip otherwise it’s considered a fouls ball. The only rule that applies here is if your bunting with 2 strikes and foul it your out.

Put it this way, with how tough Virginia as played this post season, it's crazy that they aren't nationally ranked. They blanked Tennessee and pushed MSU for 7 innings.

This guy has done it all postseason no ones been able to hit him consistently. Dang good pitcher with a dang good performance. 95-97 mph fastball and a crazy slider this kids going to make a lot of money out of his right arm one day soon
