Women say they want the dad bod for long-term relationships because: 1.) It's less likely that you'll "cheat" on them. 2.) They think that if you have that body, it means that they don't have to work as hard to maintain their figure. Notice how this guy didn't go into why, which I find interesting and suspect.

Plus I heard that some women like them because they're insecure with their own bodies and don't want their men to look better than them. I don't want a woman like that. BUT I understand why some women don't like ripped bods, but it's likely because they don't like meatheads.

I think this touches on the short term / long term relationship point he was making. If you are active in the dating scene, yeah, you are probably going to need a flat stomach tbh. If you are 10 years into a marriage, dad bod is more acceptable, as its understood that there is a solid foundation of trust and mutual respect that count soo much more at that level.

I have to disagree as well. Women's preference on body type is irrelevant. Life is short. You only get one shot at it. You owe it to yourself to navigate this world in a well tuned, capable machine, not a soft meat sack that gets winded walking up a couple flights of stairs. That's the motivation. The impact on the opposite sex is the icing on the cake.

What’s fitnesses though? When I was a paratrooper I looked like any other 19 year old but I was incredibly fit. It was after I’d left (or got MD’d to be specific) I packed on loads muscle to the point people on steroids genuinely wouldn’t believe I was natural I certainly wasn’t fit then. I just used hammer weights for half an hour twice a day and eat like fuck as opposed to when I used to do 20 miles tabs and patrol the Sangin Valley. Most people as well really do just take steroids because they’re lazy and are concerned with how they look over how they perform (which is reasonable when you work in an office or something) but I would never assume someone with a dad bod is less fit than someone with muscles. Also there’s a lot of elements to it. Personally my girlfriend likes my muscles. I mean she’s in her mid 30’s now so I don’t think she’s as bothered anymore but when I was like 23 and she was 26 she loved them. But that’s a point. Age probably plays a factor. I love a mum bod now but didn’t in my early 20’s. I actually don’t like birds who are overly fit. I just like a normal woman that a can get a good squeeze of and it’s incredibly likely to be the same for them. Confidence also probably plays a big part. If you’re confident in yourself then you will be more attractive and if you go the gym then you probably are somewhat happy with how you look. With that said though most compliments I get are off other men. It’s like when people cry and being bald or short or poor that women don’t like them but you see herds of confidant bald men with proper good looking women for example. Ultimately I don’t think birds like self pity.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who likes to make up stories about how I got my scars. I have one on the bridge of my nose that I got when my friend drunkenly hit me in the face with a stop sign. And one down the length of my torso I got as an infant from open heart surgery. But I’ve told people everything from a bar fight, to an animal attack, to foiling a robbery LOL.

No! As a licensed cosmetologist, and female, I beg of you: PLEASE DO NOT color your hair! ESPECIALLY if you do it yourself with store-bought box dye-it is the worst. You can NEVER achieve a decent coloring from them because they are mass-produced. Hair color is unique & you MUST know Color Theory extremely well to get it right. It is also IMPOSSIBLE to properly apply the color to your own hair EVENLY. WE cannot even do it to our own hair just right (someone else must apply it, especially to the back of the head), which is why we color each other’s hair when it’s slow. Box dye destroys your hair and fades in patches that looks metallic & dull. I can ALWAYS spot a person using box-dye. Finally, you men are extremely lucky, because women don’t usually mind a bit of gray on a man. It tends to make y’all look distinguished, but it makes women look old, which is why women color their hair, and grey hair is very different in texture and truly requires professional coloring. Since men have short hair, it really isn’t worth the money to get it professionally colored either, because it gets cut so frequently & will require re-coloring with every cut, so unless you have tons of disposable income, it isn’t cost-effective for men to color their hair. I’m just being honest & straightforward. So please-skip the box dye. You are just as (if not more) attractive without it.

I like men to be well groomed and physically fit -- up to a point. There comes a point when he's taken it to a level that makes me think he's self absorbed and high maintenance and I don't want anything to do with that. If he's looking in the mirror more than he's looking at me then it's a no go. That being said, and I know this is a personal preference thing, I REALLY appreciate a man who manscapes. All the videos I share tend to load a photo to show the recipient what the video is about. Is masculinity being targeted for somehow being toxic? We need masculinity in society. We need men to be men. It seems like there’s a lot of woke hippies who have resentment towards masculinity. Why? Could it be that these people have PTSD they haven’t dealt with and are instead taking it out on masculinity?

BUT, my legs, ass, traps and back are visibly developed. It is always nice when i get intimate and the girl is like "how can u just lift me? where does that stamina come from, etc..." Moral of the story, hoist heavy weights for countless hours if u can. Cutting is hard for me, but i still enjoy gym benefits (averaging 10-12h/w, squat bench dead are 151-98-180kg @78kg 1,68m/5'6)
