7 Innocent Bystanders Who Were Screwed Over By You, The Hero

Ойындар

They say you can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs, but it’s equally true that you can’t be a videogame hero without ruining the lives of a few random bystanders. At least, that’s the way it seems, when you consider how these seven videogame heroes destroyed these people’s homes, livelihoods and skeletons. Subscribe for a video like this every Thursday!

Your spouse and child in Skyrim. One of the great legacy's of the Dragonborn on top of all the heroic stuff will be that of legendarily bad parent and spouse. One who shows up maybe once a month to collect money, a meal, some stuff from the house, before trotting off for another month to spend most of their time with someone they describe as a, "Companion." Yeah, no, sounds like one big happy family.

Or just the kids you "rescued" from the orphanage. They start off being bullied by Grelod the kind, then witness a horrific murder along with the mental anguish of having someone they wished dead die in front of them. Then, just when things were looking up... you adopt one or two, take them away from all their friends, put them in Whiterun just in time for the stormcloaks to assault it and then abandon them in their house all alone for months on end while you and your husband go out adventuring.

What about literally every homeowner in an RPG? They always get screwed over by the protagonist breaking into their homes, and stealing their stuff. One example I can think of is from Final Fantasy IX where if you enter a home in the beginning of the game, you find a stash of Gil labeled as "Grandma's life savings."

Regardless of what you say to Erikur, she ends up being sent to a dungeon, after being harassed by Erikur already. Far Cry 4, you can either make it so that when Pegan Min is gone the region is sent back to the 1200's where children are married off at early ages to increase the population or becomes a drug country employing children in the military as a loyalty tax. Either way, it's not good for the children.

I imagine DC universe insurers won't cover 'acts of superheroes and supervillains', just like they don't 'acts of god'. If Bibbo was smart, he'd move to Star City, open up a bar there. Deadshot killed all the villains in town after his daughter and her mum moved there. It'd be great, until Deadshot's daughter turns 18, starts going out with friends, and Deadshot kills every bartender in the city who serves her. Actually, scratch that. It turns out everyone in the DC universe is screwed.

This would most likely earn Kratos's contempt as any true Spartans despise cowardice and selfishness, thus purposely leaving the Captain to his own demise

Kratos didn’t like the captain because he was a bad leader and was looking to abandon ship and leave his sailors behind when he was eaten. Kratos was a spartan captain and in the new game talks about how important real leadership is (like how he always loved his companions throughout the game series, shown in god of war 2 when he unknowingly fights his second in command and comforts him as he dies). He didn’t kill him out of nowhere lol. Also the captain locked women in his quarters who were being killed by monsters and cowardly ran away.

Man, I dunno who planted all those veggies in super Mario Brothers 2, but they couldn't have been happy with what Mario did to their crops.

How about Doctor Giovanni from the Dishonored series? You have the potential to steal from him across 1, 2, and Death of the Outsider, and you can technically steal from him twice in Dishonored 2. Corvo and friends totally have it out for him.

Even if you do hire Wayne Haas, things won't go well for him. Because not long after starting his new job, every augmented person in the world would go into a homicidal frenzy. And even if he did survive the Aug Incident, Sarif Industries is declared bankrupt. So yeah....
