7 Habits That Reveal A Lot About Your Personality

Why do we do what we do? The age-old question of psychology. While it’s certainly true that we are who we are because of our experiences and our nature, the little things matter, too. As famed American author, writer, and businessman Stephen Covey once said, “Our character is basically a composite of all our habits.” Our habits play a crucial role in how we think, feel, and act on a daily basis. So, we've made this video as a personality test to help you understand yourself better!

*7 habits that reveal a lot about your personality:* _note: long comment!_ *1. the way you walk* quick strides: highly logical, self-motivated and competitive chest forward, shoulders back and head held high: confident, sociable, charismatic and attention-seeking light footsteps, duck their heads: sensitive, soft-spoken and play *2. the way you shake hands* firmer handshakes: emotionally expressive, extroverted and optimistic looser grips: shy, neurotic and insecure _note: the texture, duration and whether or not you make eye contact when giving a handshake can determine the way others perceive you_ *3. your online etiquette* _note: the tone, content, length, frequency, and speed at which you reply can tell a lot about you_ introverts: polite and formal extroverts: friendly and casual good vocabulary: high intelligence, but consistent absence of typos can convey perfectionism and high conscientiousness long emails: energetic and detail-oriented, but can be perceived as needier and more demanding *4. your eating habits* slow eaters: confident, level-headed fast eaters: ambitious, goal-oriented and moody picky eaters: anxious, controlling and detail-oriented *5. your spending habits* impulsive spenders: spontaneous, hedonistic, and enjoying living in the moment smart spenders: rational, patient, and prefer to look at the bigger picture luxurious purchases: like to indulge and treat yourself well essential necessities: more practical, responsible and down to earth *6. your nervous tics* biting nails, chewing your lips when nervous, picking at your skin and tapping your foot: feeling restless, uncomfortable and anxious overly doing these: you have difficulty controlling your emotions, calming yourself down, and overcoming your perfectionism *7. your handwriting* big handwriting: outgoing, people-oriented, and have a strong desire to be understood small handwriting: focused, introverted and neat words slanted to the left: introspective and reserved words slanted to the right: friendly, sentimental and impulsive no slants: logical and pragmatic thank you for reading! this took quite a while, but it was worth it 💚

Same, I feel like when I'm texting to people online I act a lot more extroverted than when I talk to someone face to face. Some online friends were actually surprised when I told them I was actually more of an introvert, because by the way I text when I chat with them, they felt I was more extroverted.

Many of these habits seem to change for me over time, alongside working on myself. For example, knowing that a firm handshake or walking with chest forward and head up mean confidence, I go with "fake it till you make it". Especially in professional settings, to seem more confident. No idea if that's a good thing

The handwriting part holds true in my case. Looking over my journal, I can see that two years ago my writing was smaller and had no slant. At the time, I identified with traits of introversion, being focused and pragmatic. My current year's writing was larger in size and slanted to the right. I do feel more like an ambivert - being friendly and communicating proactively. Time and experiences change a lot. These are such interesting observations, I enjoy how calming the speaker's voice is too. Thank you for the video! :)

funny how most of these scream "confident" for me but at the same time deep inside I'm hurt, have trust issues, insecure, filled with self-loathing, depressed, lost and have suicidal tendencies. it's just so weird it doesn't feel right. i think i may look like i have good self-esteem and i feel i express my self-consciousness differently and not as often as most people but I'm still far from the optimistic, strong, extroverted and ambitious person I wish and may pretend to be.

Theres a flipside to anything. Anywho, I only came here to say I like awkward, nervous, "shy" ppl. Idc if they have trauma and they seem so nice...they seem boring. They actually have interesting stories & seem to be sincere loyal ppl that r good listeners & not always quick to judge. but will say sh to your face too, bc they're not fake. But if confronted enough, will show their "psycho" side & never lack empathy. Mainly bc they prob just want to Choose peace... Dont seem to be weak, naive & have more of an depth outlook & insight. Thoughtful & careful. & blahzaye blahzaye. & I dont even like ppl... but thats at least the ones I've come across. On a side note :/, I read the summary. Its eh to me. But then again, im not a professional. Not to say that Some prob dont know what they're doing. But still..

These are my traits that I have..they’re actually spot on but if you don’t want to read them you don’t have to😊 1. The Way You Walk I’m the third one: light foot steps and ducking of the head meaning sensitive, soft spoken, and polite. 2. The Way You Shake Hands I’m the second one: looser grip meaning shy, neurotic, and insecure. 3. Your Online Etiquette I’m an introvert meaning more polite and formal. 4. Your Eating Habits I’m a picky eater (third one): meaning anxious, controlling, and detail oriented. 5. Your Spending Habits I’m more of a Smart Spender meaning more rational, patient, and prefer to look at the bigger picture. Also more practical, responsible, and down to earth. 6. Your Nervous Ticks I bite my nails, bite my lip, and shake my leg up and down. I do these things a lot also because I have anxiety. 7. Your Handwriting I have small handwriting meaning focused, introverted, and neat. My handwriting also slants to the left meaning introspective and reserved. If you read all of this, sorry that it’s a lot to read but also thank you. You now know more about me😊Have a lovely day/night/evening!

I walk fast for a few main reasons: 1: I’m slow at most things, so walking fast makes up for lost time. 2: other people walking will have their eyes on me for a shorter amount of time because I’d have gone past them before they have a chance to see me properly (or at least that’s the idea) it’s a self conscious decision and it feels like I’m running away from each new pair of eyes. I wish I could be more comfortable with myself.
