Regular blood donation is linked to lower blood pressure and a lower risk for heart attacks. “It definitely helps to reduce cardiovascular risk factors

To prevent an overload of iron which increases shbg. Iron overload is common for men who eat meat a lot. Women get periods and lose iron so not an issue there
