Yes, I fold my bike and take it up the stairs (5 floors) to my apartment. This is my daily exercise. I have a classic Brompton M and an electric Brompton HY. At first I thought about replacing my classic with electric but I realize that I love my classic. So I keep both. When I go far or travel for work I take the electric one. To do my shopping I take the classic, lighter and less bulky in the shopping trolley.

Totally! Used to have lots of stuff on my Bromptons, this is currently how I set up now too, + a phone holder, small tool bag on the saddle, and bottle mount

I use the loop mount that goes over the stem bolt and fits perfectly, spring loaded bars hold the phone in place, and close up when not in use. And it doesn't rattle when not in use, another point from me!

Lamps (or lights) are good. You can make yourself even more visible to people in cars by wearing a high visibility vest and a light coloured helmet or cap, because your upper body, shoulders and head can be seen when the cars nearest you stop car drivers further away from seeing the lights on your handlebars.

Good point in regards to the light being on the handle bars rather than by the front wheel, you tend to into details with your videos which is very refreshing, would you consider doing a video on in your opinion good versus bad handle bars light = good value, waste of money, reality compared to nonsense. Look forward to your next video which ever subjects on the Brompton.

Thanks for the detailed comment. I would love to make a video comparing the lights in the practical sense. Most of the lights on the Brompton now are what the Brompton shops sell to them. There is very little alternation here. However, there are some budget lights that I see on the market that would work really great. I got one of these lights that can be used as a power bank. That's the light I would bring if I am going touring for a couple days. At least I got a spare power source for the phone in case anything happens.

10:00 flashing front lights are annoying as hell, plus every Epeleptic Person could be triggered and getting a seizure. There are so many ways to be visible at darker times but sometimes i think people are just lazy or don't want to put on a hi -vis West, not even these grey ones. Or just get a light that is bright enough in the beginning. (Sry, a friend constantly gets seizures in winter because of these flashing lights. I'm a bit against them.)

Thanks for spending time on the video. I was thinking about that during my video shooting. Initially, I was going to shoot the "blinking" in the dark, but I thought it would be less "harmful" to express it in the daylight. I will warn people before the flashing. I appreciate your input. Cheers.

It’s called a “feed bag” as the original design is used with horses to help keep them well fed. The bag goes over the nose and mouth with straps around the head. Great video!

@@Petrellionwheels I have just found a Solution for the missing water-bottle holder on a Brompton, as Chinese A.E. sells a bolt-hole with a Velcro strap, so that two or three of those are able to be put anywhere on the bike, with a proper Superlight bottle cage!! My now much less than my former 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton weighs around 8,5 kilo(!), of course still with mudguards, as "Rainy Dane", with a use for those! I expect that with a little more work and changes, mostly changing the Heavy Metal clamps on my mudguards to much lighter ones and more original brake parts to titanium, I will be able to reach round 8 kilo, and still looking - mostly Original all over. Only the feel of lifting the contraption will be different. Finn. Denmark 😄
